Maybe she tweaked an ankle or something. I was wondering the same thing when it stated she was on the sideline.

a quick google search didn't find anything about an injury to Diamond ,hopefully it isn't much, since we haven't heard anything about it

Well at any rate, I hope DeShields will be 100% healthy & ready to go full strength when the Lady Vols BB season starts up in November. Can't hardly wait until I see her & Te'a Cooper score many points.

I think we may be misinterpretating the article. I think the article may be referring to her being injured doing the time she was sitting out due to her redshirt. I think she played a bit of her freshman season at UNC hurt, but used the redshirt year to recooperate and heal from all injuries. I think she is close to 100% now.

Found another article about Diamond & it says she's had a bunch of nagging injuries that she's been having & trying to overcome & basically what you said.

@DDDeshields is OK. At a baseball game and phone blowing up. Breathe in, breathe out hoops fans. She is easing way back.

If you're talking about the USA v Italy game, it isn't until 9:00 PM EDT (10:00 AM Sunday, Korean time) and should be broadcast on ESPNU.

Jim

P.S. There is also a youtube channel, which can be found here, but I don't know if this is a live channel or only shows replays/highlights.
