She's my friend. And she is well liked in this area. Whether she is the perfect moron for the morons in this region of TN is a matter of opinion. Thanks for sharing yours. I appreciate it.

She just dropped a NAAWP reference. It's not a giant leap to take.

I'll take McDad's word for it that she's just not very savvy, but that's a defense that usually doesn't work too well for an elected official.

I saw her on the news tonight. The black caucus is calling for her to be removed from her position. She explained her comments and her explanation was good enough for me..... They asked her if she was going to apologize and she held her ground and said no..... Good for her

Her iq and her explanation don't matter. It's the fact she believes there would be some need for whites, women or westerners to be advanced is ludicrous. She either truly doesn't understand the concept or does understand and posted it anyways while feigning ignorance. Both are equally troubling

Honestly it sounds exactly like the ones who ask why there's no white history month, white entertainment television or white miss America pageant.

You and other people's responses are what is troubling. To me it appeared to be nothing more than a snarky response to a questionable organization. Was her response PC appropriate? No but that isn't a sign of being a moron, racist or anything else.

You and others might gain a modicum of credibility when you start questioning the motives of some of these groups like CAIR and quit sweating the small stuff.

There's a huge double standard in this country PJ and you know it.
The past is just that..... The past. Black folks need to get over their reliance on being butt hurt over what happened generations ago.
