It might. She is in a very conservative district in TN. I wouldn't be surprised if support of what she posted isn't 65% or better.

She is going to get compared to David Duke. If she didn't think it was stupid, or regret it, then she wouldn't have deleted it.

I think she already has been compared. It may have consequences on her political career. I dunno. Ironically, she is one of the most giving people I've ever met. And incredibly trustworthy in her personal life.

Funny story:
She asked me for money when she ran the first time. Told her i dont give money to politicians. She looked at me dumbfounded until she realized she IS a politician. Like the thought hadnt crossed her mind.

Lol. I am not doubting who she is. You know her I don't. We all do things we regret.

So why does CAIR refer to her statement as "racism"? They are not a racial organization are they? I thought they were concerned about furthering their islamic jihad.. I mean agenda.

If you haven't oppressed a minority today, you're not earning your keep.

Done and done..albeit one was a female and they are the majority..bright and early at 6am this morning! Made a black guy drive me to breakfast in his lexus.

Ut opprimerent oppresso!

Honestly, my mind first made the W into Women. Women People doesn't make sense, but I'm color blind. She should have played that card.

Of course it's worse. And I really hope she's being honest about not understanding what NAAWP stood for ... but come on.

Oh I agree. She stepped in it and she's trying to spin her way out of it. What's laughable/pathetic is the feigned outrage by CAIR and some of the other groups whenever something like this comes up.

She is being honest about it. I can attest to her lack of savvy on stuff like this.

I'm grateful she is no longer using 'WTF' as a way to express congrats.
