.......like two peas in a pod. Only difference is Foster didn't like to hold on to the ball.......:mf_surrender:

Understandably Hurd if healthy should have some gripe with the play calling.

Understandably the team/program should have some gripe with the lack of leadership by Hurd.

That's funny, I just commented about that in another thread. No one likes a quitter though

When the going gets tough, Jalen Hurd gets going out of here

I'm not even that mad at Hurd. I feel like his talents were abused and wasted by this horrendous coaching staff.

same running style, both could be UT's leading rusher, both gave up on themselves has college athletes when they could have been a league leading rusher(Even in our system).

Hurd's biggest problem was he couldn't make anyone MISS! Took way to many shots!!

Sigh: Wish him good luck. Step up Mr. Kelly!

I think another future similarity is success in the NFL. This kid is better than Matt Forte IMO...and I'm a Bears fan.

Foster was stuck in a bad system he didn't choose yet finished the season. Hurd chose the system yet is now leaving because of it

Do you have the fumbles/carry for both Foster and Hurd? Would be interested to know how you came up with your numbers

Offensive play calling has not been up to par. However, Hurd has more than enough touches to be effective. He isn't running like he did last year. If healthy he really doesn't have an excuse.

Kamara, Kelly both have hit the hole hard. Jalen has been dancing looking for a spot on dancing with the stars.

well as long as hurd doesnt write a paper about being a noble man then impregnate another woman while married to only ask her to abort that baby and still end up divorced, i'll always respect Hurd more....and keep them in separate class

Foster finished his collegiate career as Tennessee's all-time leading rusher with 3,338 yards.[9] His legacy, however, was mixed. He fumbled just five times on a school-record 650 carries, but all of his drops came at critical moments, including fumbles in both 2006 Penn State games, one against Florida in 2007, and against UCLA and Auburn in 2008

3 losses from his fumbles...that's significant. I cant find Hurds fumbles, but I bet your right it probably rivals more than 5! ....THEY MUST BE RELATED TO EACH OTHER!

Travis Henry is Tennessee's all time rushing leader.

Your research is from Wikipedia?

The one with a QB handing off backwards is hardly on the rb. That makes 4 in about 650 carries for foster. Is that bad?

Again, do you have any real numbers to compare or are you just making stuff up?

every loss can't be blamed on a single fumble. Good grief

Another head case headed to the NFL for a very short stay there. Not mentally tough enough to handle issues here; not mentally tough enough to handle the NFL game.

Good riddance,

Both have given exponentially more that 99% of this board and fanbase.

no doubt they have given more. Given more doesn't mean they were productive to get us where we need to be. As a Fan I expect them to give their all, its part of the process. When you don't live up to the expectation just because you are on the team and giving 99% more than me doesn't mean we will not write about it and talk about it. For some reason I don't hear anyone talking about bama's, lsu's, Florida's, auburns, south Carolina, Kentucky, or Vanderbilt running backs lacking effort....... ..... I know gave 100% when I played college ball.....understand your role and accomplish greatness........After game 8 saying you are transferring....c'mon man:cray:

Agree! You know why Bama is always good? They adjust their scheme to fit the players they have, not try to fit their players into a specific scheme. Hurd has to look out for his future.

your 100% correct. there are a lot of plays into the game, but these fumbles were key into the other teams victory no other way to put it. Its not the only fumbles I can name 7 of them against A&M this year!

Have you ever played football? Do you know what it is like to get physically pounded by multiple people because lack of blocking and excecution?

You don't... or you wouldn't be saying this.
