A final thanks to Coach Jones

Already rumors that vandy is looking at him for recruiting coordinator

And the rat will probably take it - because to him it was always about the money.

Now we sit back and wait for all the dirt to come out. His iron fist isn't wrapped around state-controlled media any longer, so it's going to come out.

No. Butch is a SHARK. He very aggressively renegotiated his contract and I think he has purposefully tanked our ****ing season because he wanted the buy out and wanted to walk. Impossible to prove but.. the play calls, the schemes..

Here is a thought to our current AD.. whoever we get next.. god forbids he goes 8-4 in his third season, do NOT give him an extension with a massive buy out. Who the **** is going to hire away an 8-4 coach for more than his current salary? Why do AD's suck so bad at leveraging contract talks?

You are an idiot. End of story.

Lol, you still drunk from last night? The only thing getting him fired this season was rolling the dice with Larry Scott at OC.

Just give it a bit

Your idea of who Butch Jones really was is about to be shock you

Yeah, i love seeing the cowards flock after he is gone. Folks that did have the courage to speak out or stand up during the event always strike be as noble citizens.

I have learned in my career that once someone is fired it becomes open season. Everyone takes a shot at the carcass. It is a disgusting practice IMO. Obviously the job was getting done right or they would still be doing the job.

Agree...
CBJ leaves the program in MUCH better shape than what he was given Post Dooley. Very good recruiter that could never translate that to the field. Thanks for your effort and dedication. Good luck in future endeavors.

Turn the page......

Thank you for everything Butch, while this year has been very bad and many other heartbreaks over the years, I will always remember the great games like Florida vs Tennessee last year and Georgia vs Tennessee in 2015.

I got a lot of Love for you Butch Jones. You loved this university and this football program. Countless hours and very little rest. You took this job and threw your arms around us when NOBODY else would. You rebuilt us from the ground up and gave us a foundation for the future. Most of all you loved these kids and gave them everything they will need to be great men in their lives. You did everything right when no one else would. You did the impossible at times. You did it all except win games in the SEC. It's your record against the SEC that is replacing you. Know that it's the only reason in the end. I hope you find a home, and I hope you have a great and long career.

We appreciate the work ethic, recruiting top players, bring in Josh Dobbs and other players to represent the University well. The bowl games were fun and several exciting games.

No need to dwell on the negatives, at the end of the day it just wasnt good enough. No hard feelings and good luck in the future.

This. Wish him good luck in the future.

Tend to agree with this.

This is the same guy who was spouting off the same sales pitch to Purdue and Colorado when he was hired, tried to back channel his way to Purdue last season, and spent five seasons trying to convince everyone of how lucky we were to have him.

Figure he will take some parting shots on the fan base through the press and play the victim card.

Love is conditional as long as his contract was being renegotiated and extended.

But that’s true in almost every line of work.
Most People are afraid to tell truth to power.
Albert Haynesworth (crazy as he may be) told us while Butch was still in power. Few others would. Maybe Basilio.

Yea.................Thanks...

"Another disgraceful mark currently set by the program under Jones, Tennessee cannot claim a win over any SEC program at the moment — all 13 have defeated the Vols since last meeting them on the gridiron. In those 13 games, Tennessee has been outscored 488 to 235."

No they did, they just spouted hatred toward him. No facts, no stories that played true. Just a bunch of cowards.
