A few facts concerning Vols vs UAB.

I do that to my son.....No way he is scoring without earning it lmao. When he pouts and gets mad, i score some more. Life lessons must be taught 😂😂😂. Then there's UAB, who I hope is in my sons position all game long.
Yeah but take it from someone that did the same thing...then learnt it. When he gets older he’s really going to enjoy the payback. 😁

blah blah blah... blah blah blah..

That team that played against uSC was not the same that played against Ga State. Players know how to play up Pruitt's standards. Pruitt has raised his own standards. He's fighting for his players now, that was not there the first game. They won't go through the motions like they did the first game.

I may eat a little crow if UAB is with 21 points, but the eye test is telling me this won't be very close. JMO as usual.
And the D appears to finally know how to line up....

UAB has played only 1 team with a winning record in 2019. They lost that game to WKU. If only our staff had connections with the staff at WKU to get the scouting report.

Tyson Helton
Head Coach, WKU

Is SOS even important. OSU is ranked 4th and they've played an utter trash schedule this year.

The Blazers believe they can win, and they can. We'd better show up, pissed off, and hungry. Or it could be a long day.
Let's line up, and blow them off the ball, and demoralize them early and often. Play aggressive, fast, and arrive with evil intentions.
This isn't about beating UAB. This is about improving from last week. If that happens, we win.
No TO's. No silly penalties. Play clean and mean.
It is also an opportunity to find our every down QB, and for Chaney to sharpen his play-calling skills, with the talent provided. He's gotten better, as the talent has begun to "get it".
We need to get back to the point where no one wanted to schedule us. Especially in Knoxville.

I'm not a Buckeye fan, but their schedule is far better than Clemson. Bama schedule has been super easy too. Of the teams ranked in the top 4 OSU's schedule is ranked the highest. Not sure how they came to that now that I'm looking at it. LSU seems like they have played a bunch of big games already.

The Blazers are ranked fifth nationally in total defense (248.6) and haven't allowed a single opponent to score over 20 points.
That's true. The best O they've faced ranks 105th in total O. The lost to #105. The next best is 116th. The other 4 FBS opponents make up 4 of the bottom 6 O's in CFB.

UT might not have been scored on with that schedule.

Blazer fan here, hope I am welcome... looking forward to our game tomorrow. I honestly have no idea what to expect, as we’ve played a pretty weak schedule and UT looks to be rolling. I’m not going in expecting a win, I honestly just want to get out of this game injury free, as we got our bigger conference games in November. At some point, I’d like to be at the point as a program where we can win games like this, but we’re not there yet.

Looking forward to hopefully a decent game, for awhile at least..... any chance y’all can turn the heaters on for tomorrow night?
Welcome to the board. The Blazers traditionally play the Vols tough, and I expect more of the same for this game. You have an excellent coach that I truly hope will stay with you for many years to come. I hope both teams can come out of this game without injuries, because (as you mentioned) both teams have big conference games left. My advice for the game...layer up and sneak in a flask.

I would say you’re just a troll and not a fan but you sure do hold onto the past with the best of the old vols.
Hate to tell you but not a troll. I love my Vols. Just trying to make a point. Even though its UAB do not overlook them like the Georgia St. and BYU game.

Only two teams that UAB has played average over 20 points a game this season: Alabama St (23) and WKY (22.4). The seven teams that UAB have played average 17.22 points/game.

Let’s be honest, It is not like UAB has played any real scoring offenses this year.

Even better 4 teams they've played are in the bottom 6 of total yards on the year. Another is an FCS team. The other two teams aren't great either.

Fun fact

The Blazers’ seven opponents to date are a combined 9-37 on the season, with only six FBS wins (five by WKU).

They lost to WKU
On paper we should win easily but you still have to practice well in the week to play well on the weekend. On paper we should have beat Georgia State and BYU.
