Totally.

The idea of a war on Christmas has been ever present in my life because of my Mom. We weren't even allowed to write "Xmas" and she freaked out when Bush's Christmas message was "Happy Holidays".

The funny thing is holiday = holy day and X is the way Christians used to abbreviate Christ so all that heartache was for nothing.

I don't think suspension is justice for what Phil said, but I don't blame A&E for suspending him. They are in the entertainment industry. Everything is image.

Actually it is 3 and you'd have to ask them.

Meaning, they don't joke around with these people about their lifestyle. They don't ask about it, they're completely not interested in it and don't want to hear about.


I don't care what other adults do and certainly am not hateful towards nor do I hate gay people. That said, "I ain't down with it."

The irony here is that of the 9 million viewers that watch this show...they probably all agree with Phil.

I've had people introduce themselves to me like "Hi, My name is Quadravious, and I am Jewish!" or "Hi, my name is Tim Tebow and I am gay". That's the stuff that bugs me. I don't care if you are gay, Jewish, etc..no reason to tell me unless you are desperately seeking attention and reaffirmation. In that case..I ain't down with it.

Yea, you nailed it.

I'd say a large percentage of the population feels this way. I don't really care that someone is gay, I care that they are so damn infatuated with making sure everyone knows they are gay.

Best thing these idiots could do is ignore this Phil thing.

I am guessing the CEO or VP of programming at A&E is gay and their boyfriend gave them a whole bunch of crap about this in the home. Dude had to bow to his boyfriend and take this action.

Well, I was looking at the pet section(trying to find a bluetick hound for my sons), and couldn't find any.. I backed out to the main page and seen that title and thought I'd look at what people would post(out of sheer boredom).. I had no clue there'd be that many 28-45 yr old gay guys jus randomly wanting to **** another man..

Ain't no cyclop got time for that!

Most aren't. Most hate gays. I work in civil service..so lots of affirmative action Obama voter types..they talk about gays like Hitler talked about Jews. I've heard guys saying they wish they could gas them all..then complain about Koch Brothers/Palin/Bush/Limbaugh or whoever MSNBC told them to ***** about that day. Oh and they complain about white people saying the N word..:whistling:

A lot of people might say they don't but we all know how that worlds. Liberal darlings Alec Baldwin and Sean Penn come to mind...

My time around every hetereo male I've worked with over 20 years.

You can see guys engage others in conversation even when one person has little to no interest in a subject. Fishing, hockey, religion, politics, landscaping, gf/wife, whatever.

But I have never seen another guy ask a gay employee anything about their personal life or want anything to do with knowing about it. And that is on the polite end of the spectrum, many fall on the other end of the spectrum.....rude/hateful.
