Yes it is time for him to start living up to his high school ranking. We need him to be able to contribute this year. It’s time he made a move. We also need Omari to step on the D-line and be the disrupter he is capable of being. Year 2 under Garner we should start seeing sone development from these guys. GBO!

I’m glad to hear that. I’m pulling for him. If I recall correctly he committed to us early on in his high school recruitment and never waivered, and I havent heard anything, publicly at least, about him considering transferring the last couple years when he wasn’t getting much playing time. That’s a rarity these days for a highly rated recruit to stick with it and put the work in if he’s not getting much playing time his first couple years.

If, on avg, we stop 3-4 more drives per game, we will be in the top 10 defenses nationally.

I was wondering about this kid - really good talent and I'm glad its staring to click.

As someone else mentioned, we also need Omari Thomas to play up to his talent. If he and Simmons can get inside pressure, good things will happen.
