He doesn't give a dam as to what any of us think of him right now. He's off recruiting and working his rear end off. I know some of you have seen how he answers a dumb question from the media. That's exactly how he feels about the reactionary punks that think he should be fired right now.

He may not pan out and be gone after next year. I still like the fact he doesn't give two s**ts what you think

If any coach cares what we think...they don't belong in the profession. This board isn't here for DD.

I know how it's spelled. I thought it might be edited or erased if I spelled it correctly

Got to love this fanbase. It's about as fubared as any I've seen

The only word that comes to my mind is idiotic. Not speaking for all the "fans", but 95% of them fall in this category.

is determined by his success on the field and almost nothing else.

If it doesn't bother him to lose games, which in turn, deeply concerns us diehard fans, then he should be fired. If disappointing the Volunteer fanbase, the people who foot the bill for his millionaire salary isn't even a blip on his radar, screw him and the horse he rode in on. I totally agree with everything you said about his unparalleled arrogance. Everybody I've spoken to who has any association with him says the same thing. He's extremely condescending and thinks he knows everything. He's too haughty to value anyone else's opinion.

I think you are right on target.

Good post.

I would say Dooley does not read message boards. They are what they are. A place where people can vent.

Wait, hold on a sec. You mean all of these anonymous rantings carry no weight with anyone but the rest of the anonymous ranters (and even then not a lot of influence)?

Thanks, but as a matter of fact, I like that attribute about him. If you don't think he cares about losing, you're one of those I was speaking of. He probably does know more than 99.999999% of the people you know that have spoken to him.

Dooley has over 2 million reasons to be off working his rear end off and not care what we think.

Are you kidding? U don't think it bothers him to lose games? It's his job to win games.. It's literally his life.. I guarantee each loss hurts him more than u or me..and I challenge u to find a head coach that isn't arrogant.. We just had one of the most arrogant, stubborn coaches in the game today, and he left for Hollywood...DD has a plan, and he's going to stick to it. I'd say that's a very important quality for our coach to have.I don't want a mouse leading my team, I want someone who will do it their way, because they truly believe its right, and it'll get us to where we wanna be ..patience is a virtue.. Be virtuous!

Uh who cares, when we win 5 games next year is he gonna care then?

We'll have a new coach and everyone will be happy again if that happens. I hope he proves people wrong and wins 7 or 8 with a decent bowl win, then I'll be happy.

Every good head coach fits that description. And if you think Dooley or any other head coach gives 2 cents about a fanbase's opinion you are.... well never mind that wouldn't be nice of me to say.
