It is this easy and obvious at this point... Tee Martin

He is the anti-Schiano, Kiffin and Doeren and a VFL QB who won an SEC and National Championship.

So he struggles his first season, who cares! We could take it way better than a Doeren first season. Most likely he puts a good/great staff together and recruits like a champ and our roster is stacked by year 2-3. This is where I am at now and I think most VOL Fans should be. The "not ready" label has to be ripped off. If not us who, if not now when?

Anyone who comes into this thread and says Tee Martin isnt ready to be a head coach at Tennessee first has to answer this.

How is Tee not as qualified as Dabo was when he took over Clemson?

I would love for Tee to be the coach. If he did come, I would expect 2 years of struggle. After that, he should have most of the ***** culture that Doofus and Butch brought in removed. Then we can start getting back to a good football program again.

Dabo found Chad Morris, he was about to be fired before he did that. Tee would have to surround himself with the best assistants. Phil managed that with Cutcliffe.

Before any CRAP coach is hired......or even interviewed again, frekin hire Martin.......and I get it, not a lot of exp......but he is a VFL, he is a good O coach.....he is a GREAT recruiter, and he is young. Heck he may could get Steele on board for DC.

There are options.......and many real options, before Tennessee goes all Butch Jones again.

2 questions........

1) Do we have any indication from Tee that he wants the job?

and

2) It has been reported that Mrs. Tee is adamant about staying in LA to work on her music and film career and that she basically refuses to live in Podunkville, USA Knoxville (I'm paraphrasing). Has this situation changed?

Bring him on. Worth a shot. At this point the Admin, should say, lets listen to the fans. Let them make their bed, heck, at least then the blame could be placed on the fanbase.

Tee has never been a Head Coach, sure! Neither had Kirby Smart till Georgia?

If were not gonna hire the "Home Run" guy, and were not! Let's give Tee his shot.

I just don’t understand what is going on in Curries mind. Baffling and frustrating.

I’m glad I live too far away to have season tickets. After this season and if he actually goes through with this hire, I would be a former holder.

Yes Tee has told multiple people this week and reporters he wants the job!

2-3 years? He's too smart for that. It wouldn't be worth wasting his time. In that you have the entire problem in a nutshell.
