A case for Warren

Exactly, Austin Rogers has less talent than any receiver and drops the ball o'plenty maybe Kenny O'Neal wasn't that good but what about Ahmad Paige he definitely has some talent to go with his speed. The fact is some of the best players never reach the field look at Omar Gaither until someone got hurt his Junior year he never started a game you can say what you want but if someone has talent it is the coaches job to develop that talent and Brandon Warren wasn't a freshman AA for nothing. Contrary to what Fulmer said Luke Stocker is not the next Jason Witten either i promise you.

Paige couldn't even beat out two players in his own class (Moore and Jones) for playing time. It's been stated by multiple sources that Paige isn't getting it done between the ears. You can be dumb as a rock and run fast and do fine in track. Playing football takes a whole lot more than athletcism.

Did u not read what you wrote...Gets to practice early and leaves practice late. Sounds to me like he is putting every thing into the season ( which i haven't heard that about many others on the team)....My buddy also told me that he has lot of Athletic ability that you can't teach...He knows the offense fine and could be a top reciever...They need to do something!!!!

I am confused why everyone thinks Brandon Warren is so great????? Is it because he was an ACC All American?? Because if you have not watched our games this year that guy has as many catches as he does drops. Yeah he caught a deep ball against UAB wow!!! Yeah we should def put him on the field but not at Tight End because he is 1 dimensional he can only run routes and from my buddy on the team said he cant even do that right.....So until Warren learns the offense and makes a few more plays what makes you think he deserves to play over two guys who have been working hard.
Heck even in the paper it said that Warren has been getting to practice early and staying late because he is trying to learn the offense better so he can get in the game.

Its like a snowball. Somebody talks about that massive 300 yards he had recieving as a freshman and about how good he is and all the sudden the snowball picks up steam. Warren is not playing because he is not the best TE in the team. He is undersized at the TE position. He does not have the best route running. He has dropped multiple passes this year. He cannot ru- block in a traditional TE set. And he does not have the playbook down well enough to be used a lot during the game. He is very athletic and eventually he should be able to find a role that utilizes his skills but he has work to do to get to that point.

But, hey, everybody posts about him being a stud so he must be right?

And, who was talking about Cottam not being able to run a DE? Obivously it depends on the DE. I dont think any of our TE's can run faster than Ben Martin. But Cottam is not slow. He is very athletic. He has good speed.
