TheVolunteer -

It was not my preference to handle this matter in a public forum. I brought it here only after not getting a response from you after sending several emails over the course of several months.

This thread was not a "stunt" as you referred to it, and I took no pleasure in starting it. It's been almost three months, and I wanted an explanation. Since I brought this out into a public forum, let's resolve it here. It's probably not your preference, and it certainly wasn't mine back in September.

You did respond to me through email this weekend. I appreciate your response, but I'm not satisfied with it. It doesn't make sense. To summarize your position:

1- You bought the tickets with a friend to go to the game
2- At the last minute you guys were not able to go the game
3- You resold the tickets to a third party for $5 more than I sold them to you
4- You gave your friend the money and he was responsible for sending the payment
5- You got in touch with him each time you heard from me asking the status. And you are sorry if he never sent the payment.
6- It wouldn't be fair for you to have to pay me now since you didn't go to the game and it was your friend's responsibility.

Feel free to correct me if I have misinterpreted your email. My position is simple. I made the sale with you, and you are responsible for paying. End of story. You said to me via text the week after the game that you guys had a good time and you liked you the seats. You even asked me to let you know if I would be selling those same seats to future games.

If you didn't go to the game, then you made a profit off the tickets I mailed to you - given that you resold the tickets and never paid me for them. I'm not sure what to believe from you, and at this point it doesn't really matter. Either scenario, you handled the situation poorly.

But let's bring an end to this now. Those tickets are yours. No payment required. The matter is closed. While it wasn't my intention, I think you have taken your lumps here on the Volnation board.

I am going to treat this as an anomoly. I have never had an issue selling tickets on good faith through this board before, and I don't think it will be an issue in the future.

Go Vols.

6- Is not what I meant. My friend and I had a deal to where we would pay each of our tickets. I will gladly pay my share to you right here and now, 42.50$. What I wont do is pay for my friend. I left him the money to send to you, he obviously didn't do that. I apologize for that sincerely. I trusted him to do the right thing, and told him countless times to please send the money to your address. I asked him each time you emailed me, did you send the money, he said yes. I was lead on to believe the money had been sent. I emailed you thinking we could resolve this issue privately, yet you decide to put on another show for VN to get another laugh at. You clearly had intentions to do that. Like I said, ill pay for myself or family, but im not going to pay for someone who kept the money for his own leisure. It would have been nice to solve this problem in a more private state, instead of making a public mockery out of myself.

I would think you would be responsible for your friends cut, too. That's just my opinion, not trying to stir the pot.

How about you pay for both and then get the money from your friend? Then you would know what DC feels like. Be a damn man about it, it's been three months.

I agree with you, I decided to buy the tickets, but I made a deal with my friend that we'd pay for each ticket. I mean if he'd give me the money back, ill pay for his share, but how in the hell do you trust a person who pocketed 90$ worth of money? I feel awful that the man didnt get his money, and im not one to take advantage of someone, but this thread is not a mature way to handle things. I'll be glad to pay for my ticket, and if my friend will give me the money back ill pay for his too.

Are you legitimately complaining? Listen guy you have no right to complain about how he has handled the situation. And yes, making a public mockery. You are doing a fine job of that without our help.

Until you have payed your debts you have no right to play this card. The issue is that you owe debts on your original agreement. What you decided to do with the tickets after the purchase is unrelated. YOU promised payment on the ticket to DC Vol. Your friend did not. If the understanding was between DC Vol, your friend, and yourself, then things would be different. But it's not. And you offering to pay only half shows your true colors. If you wanted to make an earnest apology then you repay your debts to DC Vol and stop making up excusing. Now with that said...

You are a weasel. You deserve a probation, a user name change, a new avatar, and a new signature, all decided by DC Vol, with Volnation aiding in the suggestions.

You owe DC money for both tickets; your friend owes you money for his ticket. See how that works? Whether or not your friend pays you has no affect on your obligation to DC.

I find it incredible that you're upset because you think I'm putting on a show here. I came here as a last avenue. I don't even post here very often.

I don't appreciate being lied to, TV. Your responses are an attorney's wet dream. Did you go to the game or didn't you? How could you forward my emails to your friend if you were 'backed up' and didn't get them? You just haven't been honest about the whole situation.

Anyone who knows me would tell you I don't take joy in ridiculing or humiliating others. Stop it with that crap. I don't know you. Hopefully you are usually a stand up guy.

Regardless, I just gave you those tickets. They are yours. I meant it. Even if you send payment I wouldn't cash the check. I gave them to you.

I didn't enjoy the process, but as far as I'm concerned the matter is closed. Let's all carry on.

Your friend is a douche apparently. Doesn't mean you have to be one too

Im honestly not trying to be one, I just dont appreciate dragging out a personal matter into a public place. And regardless of whatever I do, im going to be looked down upon on everything I post or reminded of this. Im trying to do whats right and give the man his money or at least for my ticket if anything. Granted, its much longer than it should have been I realize that. You can think im a low life, scum, pos, etc. But I am good person, and I am a Vol, and im always going to be a Vol. That was the first time ive ever had to sell tickets that ive purchased, and I hated doing it. Technically, I didn't actually sell them cause I left them for my friend to sell, but you get the point. It was dumb on my part for doing, and I obviously picked the wrong person to go to the game with when I bought the tickets. Anyways, im done posting in this thread. It'd be nice if everybody would just let it die.

Had you paid the man three months ago, it wouldn't have to be public. You acted cowardly and wouldn't answer e-mails so how else was he supposed to get his point across?

I suggest we change his user name to:

PIMP YO TICKETS

Then for the text above the avatar, change it to:

"im a low life, scum, pos"

I never went to the game. I didn't want you to think I didn't go considering you asked if we enjoyed the game and all, I just wouldn't have felt right if I told you I sold them. I should have just came right out and told you I sold them last minute, but at the time I didn't think it mattered cause I thought you were getting your money. Im not making up lies. Im trying to give it to you straight. If I wasn't telling the truth, I would not be posting in this thread, nor would I have emailed you.

Man, I have over 5,000 emails. I dont check my email on a regular basis, I rarely ever do. I dont spend all day on my computer. I was not avoiding him. I honestly had no clue he had emailed me until this thread was made.

You still don't get it. The deal was between you and the OP Not OP, you, and a friend. That was your doing post deal.

As a man you are obligated full remittance to OP. Not his fault your friend is a turd. Sounds like you have a lot in common with your friend though.

Contract law:

X sells a widget to Y for $100. Y makes a deal with Z that Z will pay for half of it. Z stiffs Y. Y still owes X for the $100 from the original contract. It takes a 5th grade level to understand.
