I was looking at the one that said "no mocking here... their fans literally keep asking"

Maybe it is sarcasm, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was inspired by the plethora of joke-tweets coming from UT fans (tweeted to @belkbowl).

People are having a hard time understanding the context.

Belk Bowl tweeted Belk mocking the Tennessee/Life Champs thing. See the period at the beginning? That's put there on purpose to make it a public tweet. Now, instead of just alerting the recipient that they have a tweet that's just for them, it pops up on ALL timelines of their followers. It was tweeted for everyone to see on purpose.

No. I think they were asking @Belkbowl in a sarcastic (i.e. joking) kind of way.

@Belkbowl tweeted that to @Belk after they got a ton of these jokes from Vols fans.

It doesn't bother me, but I will say that I'm surprised at the lack of professionalism. Whoever is allowed to use the @belkbowl twitter account has a little growing up to do.

That's sort of a no-no in corporate social media. :zeitung_lesen:

Yeah, watch us get the Belk bowl and see how it spreads. It took a while for the Champion of Life comment to catch on in the national media, but it did.
