A 2-8 season for Vols this year?

2-10 is as likely as 10-2 (i.e., not happening). I think the floor is 3-9 if, say, we have major injuries on the D-Line and O-Line. On the other hand, if the O-Line jells incredibly quickly, we stay injury-free, and Simms over-performs, our ceiling could be 9-3. We'd have to go 2-1 against Oregon, LSU, and Georgia and not trip up with anyone else. Unlikely? Incredibly. But not impossible.

Somebody pass the kerosene. Seems we are out of mattresses so we are burning predictions now both technically and with negativity. I hope the players and coaches are reading this. 2-10?!?

Considering we have 12 games scheduled, I don't see us finishing 2-8....maybe its just me

No, you're all wrong. The Vols will go @-(.)-b. I know what you're thinking, that doesn't make any sense. But is it any crazier than anything else that typed on these message boards on a daily basis?

maybe someone should start a thread on the first, media to start back peddling when the vols look a lot better than reported. I can hear it already "You should never under estimate the volunteers, followed by a long list of first round draft choices, as if they were saying I told you so.

I guess the season will be so bad we will just not play two of the games.

We don't even have to win any unexpected games to not go 2-8 or 2-10 or whatever. It's a dumb statement, especially if they really did say 2-8. That really sounds like someone that knows what they are talking about.

Hey this is going to be a great year and we are going to do fine its about playing with heart .And I beleive we have something to prove let those with a negative mind set beleive what they want Tennesse football is headed to the top. Don't be surprised if we don't shock some people .DD is not playing around he conditioning there minds for success we have to do the same. As a man thinkest so he is. Go vols !!!!!!!!

They are supposed to be unbiased....based on the talent and depth......5-7/6-6/7-5 is about the BEST UT can hope for. If CDD does better than 7-5...he will be SEC Coach of the Year! Picking 5-7 is not negitive.....it is REALITY.
