_Vols in NC...get out and vote!!! Need your help. MAY 8

As I've stated over and over bud...I answer to God and God alone. The opinions of the liberal masses mean absolutely nothing to me. I know I did the right thing. Glad you agree. Funny how when democracy actually works the way its intended but the results don't go their way its "every ones fault but theirs" guarantee you half or more didn't vote for this exact issue in their home state when they had a chance. Try to learn to lose with grace Dems...november is coming.

You are still confused about a lot of things. Why are you and what's his face trying to lay this at the feet of liberals, dems, etc? You have no clue as to the political leanings of most on here and you would be surprised what they are. But, wingnuts gotta be wingnuts, I guess.

For a religion wrongly persecuted for so long, you would think they would be more understanding.

Every state where this has been up to the voters are with Marcus and I, maybe we are not the ones who are "stupid and backwards"

No, you fail to understand what you are voting for.

You dont willingly give up freedom because you personally disagree with someone.

The opinions of the majority never fail to be morally righteous, correct?

Ironically, in the stories of Jesus, the main character is very outspoken in being against the widely-held opinions of his time and place.

Dude you don't understand the ramifications this kind of intolerant state of thought. Your insistence to ban gay marriage because of Christianity is:
A) Unconstitutional - no brainer here
B) Takes away BASIC civil liberties that everyone should be entitled to.

Is it really worth it to deny a gay couple health insurance? Is this what Jesus would want? The LGBT community to be legally less than the rest of the population?

To my knowledge its 30 to 0. Unanimous. Why am I a minority again?

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me.

At least Pastor Martin Niemoller realized, unfortunately in hindsight, what happens when you start restricting the rights and privileges of others simply because you disagree with their beliefs and/or lifestyle choices.

Are you kidding?

Has this amendment been defeated in a state where it was brought to a popular vote? I don't know for sure, thus the phrase" to my knowledge" link if you know otherwise. I know in CA they tried (unsuccessfully) to overturn it...not sure about the rest. I don't live in those states so I really don't have any say in their affairs. Not a single poster, not 1 HAS SAID THEY VOTED AGAINST THIS IN THEIR HOME STATE. I honestly don't feel like you have a right to voice your opinion if you're too dang lazy to get off your butt and vote for your beliefs.

Hey, I don't believe in God. Should I have the right to vote?

It would appear that I'm even a message board inferior.

Your argument appears to reduce to nothing more than, "everybody's doing it". Further, I live in Massachusetts; previously, I lived in Seattle, WA, and before that India.

Now we have no rights to voice our opinions? Well, at least you are consistent in denying rights to individuals that do not meet your own standard of worthiness.
