99.1 Doc, Jeff & Heather

Here in Nashville it's narcissistic Mark Howard & whiney-voiced ex-Titan Frank Wychoke. WNSR has some UT-hating creep from Arkansas. Sounds like morning talk sports radio is pretty lame all over. My choice is to listen to music & look out for bad drivers. Stay safe out there, gang!

Sports talk in this state is terrible, but the new 3 Hour Lunch on 104.5 The Zone is pretty good. That is about it though.

Damn... people are some whiny asses!!! I get on a Cincy Bengals bulletin board and I swear I see the same whining and complaining about the sports radio up there sucking... Folks - it is sports radio... if you don't like it, turn it off. Do people come onto these boards and post something they don't like just to post? Good lord...

Thank you George Plaster, it is a message board, don't like opinions? Don't look, JMO.

I agree the 99.1 show in the morning is just awful. How those 3 got on primetime morning radio is beyond me. It's obvious that HH is sleeping with one or both of those guys, otherwise there isn't a snowballs chance in heck that she gets that job. 104.5 in Knoxville is the only hits station that actually plays music in the morning. Star 102.1 is mark and Kim just yapping back and forth incessantly about nothing of any importance. So, on the way to class- iPod all the way.

I have tried to suck it up and listen to them in the mornings, due to not having many choices. This morning I finally realized No radio is better than these people. HH was talking about the super bowl and how much this win would mean " For the whole state of New Orleans".... How in the world did she earn a college degree:banghead2: I guess she really does think LA, stands for lower Alabama?

the phrase "Bone to Bone" was probaly lost on her too

Not only are those 3 bad, but some of the people who call in to that show I just wish I could climb through the radio and beat the crap out of. I can't believe they even let them call in.

The only thing Queerstone can talk about is the Lady Vols. The only thing HH can talk about is volleyball and going "bone to bone". Poor Jacoby is stuck working with those two tirds.

Oh, I apologize... did I make a completely new topic about stupid crap? I didn't? Ironic, in deed...

But you offered your opinion in the thread about stupid crap.

Once again, ironic.

The only local sports radio show I ever enjoyed in Knoxville was when Russell W. Smith and Rob Lewis from TOS had a show on 850AM. The ripping on Buzz Peterson was hysterical.

And, you've managed now to chime into said topic about stupid crap even more often that I have... and then claim irony... Very, very, ironic. Do you walk with your mouth open, by chance?

It is possible though that she was making the N.O. reference "tongue-in-cheek." Sort of like some of the comments about Bill Clinton being governor of Little Rock, when he was running for prez.

I gave my opinion before you came strutting in to claim how superior you are in that you can turn a radio dial.
