I have tried to suck it up and listen to them in the mornings, due to not having many choices. This morning I finally realized No radio is better than these people. HH was talking about the super bowl and how much this win would mean " For the whole state of New Orleans".... How in the world did she earn a college degree:banghead2: I guess she really does think LA, stands for lower Alabama?

I heard that too. I'm sure she will receive alot of h*** for that one.

Any good alternatives around the state?

She's so silly she would probably start a thread like this in the Tennessee Vols Football forum, where it is not relevant...oh wait.

The morning show is horrible. I had to turn it off this am once Jim called in for his first of many calls of the day. I can't believe I listened to NPR on the way in to work.

I listened to it last fall, but now I can not anymore. I'd rather sit in silence. Doc is so un-knowledgable about ANYTHING sports related, except the Lady Vols. Jeff is an Ohio State fan who just pretends to like Tennessee, and is Doc's sidekick. Heather is probably the most knowledgeable of the 3; if you can stand to listen to her annoying voice. Doc and Jeff are like beavis and butthead, and they just have HH in the studio to look at.

Just be thankful you don't have to suffer through what us Atlanta area Vol fans have to endure.... Either the absolutely idiotic stuffed shirt USCw homer Perry Laurentino (who had Tee Martin on this morning and was regaling everyone with stories of Peyton failure to beat Florida.... What a d-nozzle Laurentino is...) on 680 or the equally insufferable Steak Shapiro on 790.... ugh..... just...ugh.

Don't forget about Buck Bulue!! That guy is awesome...

NOT

He's likely to be voted "least talented person ever to win a national championship" and proves it every day on the radio. He has a ring just because some guy named Hershel played in his backfield.... :)

Doc, Jeff, and Heather are why I listen to music on my way into work in the morning.

Jimmy and John are why I listen to music on my way home in the afternoon.

Thanks guys for broadening my music horizons over the years.

On a serious note, I have noticed that I'm in a better mood when I listen to music on my way to work. There for a while, I listened to nothing but talk radio, but now, I'm more able to sort of mindlessly start my day with some good old fashioned air guitar.

Sadly, although she obviously doesn't know the difference between a city and state, she is still the most knowledgeable person on that morning show.

Here in Nashville it's narcissistic Mark Howard & whiney-voiced ex-Titan Frank Wychoke. WNSR has some UT-hating creep from Arkansas. Sounds like morning talk sports radio is pretty lame all over. My choice is to listen to music & look out for bad drivers. Stay safe out there, gang!

The last thing I want to do in the morning is listen to Doc and Jeff's fake laughter after almost everything they say. I emailed Doc once and told him how bad their show is. :)

I like Nashville, 104.5 The Zone, I know they can be over bearing sometimes but all in all its a great show, and they just started a noon-3 show called 3 hour lunch that is really good, it is Clay Travis, Blain Bishop (former Titan), and Brent Doughtery(spelling is probably wrong), but the 3 hour lunch has been pulling some great guest so far, I am really digging it. And Clay being a legit VOL homer doesn't hurt it at all. Then afternoon evening is George Plaster and his gang. They are as genuine as it gets and I seem to like it all. Plaz talks too much baseball for my taste but it can't be 24/7 football. NO I DO NOT WORK FOR THE STATION, but I am a fan all almost all of their programing.
