It is a tricky hole. Long bombers can overtake the dogleg entirely and hit the green. Otherwise it takes properly placed driver/3 wood (depending on how far you hit it) and then a tricky downhill shot that gives you the willies due to prementioned lake. #8 is really weird to me. Looks so intimidating, but I actually usually play it well. Same for #5 out there. It just takes good tee shots and the hole lines up easy. Makes golf sound kinda simple when I say that though.HA Good place for it for sure
