or...

"Workin' Like Heck"

I seriously could go all day with this but I'll stop because Saban is Bama's new head coach and I'm jealous.

How about making the video when it's over? I realize this is your attempt at humor but...

Well we used to know top 10 recruits translating into top 10 performances translating into top 10 rankings.

If there's this many people bitching something is wrong. There is unrest. Tennessee has been on the fall starting in 1999 and really there hasn't been any change. No change in Phil, No change in how he does things, no change in how the team usually goes and does in bowl games.

If you don't see all these things your kidding yourself.

This has become the board for crybabies and perennial whiners. Don't try and stop them-it's all they know.

So what are we supposed to do? Sit back, lose our 3 games a year, not contend for SEC titles, continually come out flat for game at HOME against ranked teams, continually lose to teams that don't have the talent we do.....I mean come on.....I understand the crying and whining comments but to ask us as FANS to sit back and be content with mediocricy is ludacris! IF WE DIDN'T CARE THAT WOULD BE A BIGGER PROBLEM.....

"The Perfect Storm"

Just kidding. When I end up old and penniless, I am going to tell my grandchildren how I would have been as rich as Bill Gates and would have been president had a few things just gone my way

This is a perfect example of how our country has become apathetic to the problems we face. We tend to deny that problems even do exist. If there isn't any problems with the Vols then okay let's not talk about it. In my opinion, there seems to be problems with the Vols especially when you see players making elementary mistakes at the end of the season and players not listening to the coach. Who's fault is it? For example, Hefney catching the ball at the five yard line when he should have let the ball go into the end zone. When Fulmer tried to correct Hefney for his mistake, Hefney just walked right by Fulmer. I think there is enough blame to go around the team.:hi:

I'm not a negavol and usually a very level headed and reasonable person. This is my point... we are in the midst of a very disturbing trend this decade, and even this season's early accomplishments were overshadowed by the late season underachievement and uninspired play we've seen so much of since 1998.

I have been saying for some time now, Fulmer needs to land a top 10 recruiting class (looks like that will happen...) and compete for an SEC title next year; i.e. have a chance to win it in late November, or else we seriously consider a regime change.

Personally, I like Fulmer but he's got to find it. Unfortunately this isn't rec sports, you have to win even once in a while, and next year will be the 9th year removed from our last title. With Urban Meyer, Mark Richt and Nick Saban on our schedule each year, running the table or even finishing with 1 SEC loss is going to be a monumental task, one I increasingly feel Fulmer is not capable of achieving.

I highly doubt any problems with the UT fball team should be compared to issues with the US. It's still a game.

The Hefney thing has been beat into the ground. My rewind button did not show it being Hefney. Even if it was, how do you know what CPF said to him? It may have been "Get your butt to the bench and don't even look at me right now!" Also, did Hefney never get taught how to field punts? I never saw him cross the 10 yd line again so he might have listened.

If he never got taught how to field punts, even more reason to point the finger at our sub-par coaching.
It's the last game of the season and our coaching staff forgot to teach the fundamentals of the game.

It's a crying shame... :banghead2:

My point is that he has absolutely been taught how to field punts and had been successful in the last few games. He made a mistake, got chewed because of it and never made it again. Please explain how the coaching staff failed in this instance.

Of course mistakes happen and I'm not saying that the coaching staff specfically instructed Hefney to catch the ball when it travels over your head while standing on the 10 yard line. What I am saying is that the players were not motivated for this game and were careless throughout the game. IE, the fumble on the reverse. These fundamental mistakes shoudn't and don't often happen to teams with superior coaching staffs. Mistakes happen but continous mistakes happen to our team and the problem starts with our coaches. IMO, the coaching staff failed to prepare the team for this game. Call it what you will but even if we had won, it would not have been a convinceing win.
