Nah. We honored the victims by finally sending Osama to sleep with the fishes.

No one has to change their avatar to honor 9/11 victims - do it in your own way - that's what freedom is all about, the very thing terrorists hate us for

One hour and 15 minutes before ONE fighter plane makes it into the sky. Kinda makes one wonder. At least it should.

The same reason the cockpit doors were made out of cardboard. No one ever thought it could happen to us. Here's to all our fighting men and women doing all the dirty work overseas while we sit in our air conditioned homes watching college football on Saturday. Those VOLUNTEERS are awesome. Zawahiri is next!

I know if I lost family on 9/11 an avatar pic would comfort me

Seriously!? I'm not about to question your intimate knowledge of aircraft alert procedures, but you are aware that we don't just have jets running on taxiways with pilots sitting in them around the clock, right? (Not to mention briefed, filed, etc.) Contrary to what the Iron Eagle movies may have lead you to believe, there is a significant amount of time, preparation and coordination that goes into simply launching an aircraft for a routine sortie, let alone on a mission to intercept a airliner full of our own citizens.

Take the cheap shots at the politicians all you want, but you sound like a moron regurgitating the unsubstantiated claims of the conspiracy theorists.

Honorable suggestion, followed by predictable douchebaggery.

This is ignorance at it's finest.

Would you be willing to substantiate contrary claims with facts? Raw emotion optional. :ermm:
