1. Throw the football with sucess-throwing the football has been the downfall of the TN offence this year.

2. Rush Stafford- If we rush Stafford, we can force him into throwing INT's

3. Stop Knowshon- Stopping Knowshon will truely show the weakside in this GA team, and we have to cut them down if we want to win

4. Get A running game going- Getting a throwing game started will need to start so we can run the football

5. Beat there O-line- It is well documented GA's O-line is weak and If we beat them in the front seven, we can control the game

7. Special teams- Our special teams will have to have a big game and get our offence and defense good field position

8. Win the turnover battle- If we win the turnover battle, I think the Vols can have a big upset in Stanford Stadium

That is all, and GO VOLS!!!!

Key Number 9: Don't even get on the bus to Athens. Stay home. Can't look like crap if we don't play.

Go Vols. Whoo.

If we could do all that, we could beat everyone we play. The problem is, we are struggling to do any one of those consistently.

Or Key Number 11: Spike the Georgia gatorade with a laxative.

But then that would make Key Number 9 WAY WAY more important. Perhaps Key Number 9 should be Key Number 1.... or 2.

Try actually implementing the game maxims, instead of mindlessly repeating them.

1- That's a tall order for a very young QB. Don't like the chances of it happening.
2- This D line isn't getting much penetration so I don't see it happening against GA when we couldn't do it last week against an inferior opponent.
3- We may slow him down. But with a lead and most likely GA will have one they will run the ball more. Plus, our D will probably be on the field much of the time. Another tall task.
4- Getting a running game started will be necessary to get a passing game started. Catch 22.
5- See my number 2.
6- Where the hell is 6?
7- When was the last time our special team had a big game all around? We had a good punting game against Auburn but it's been a long time since we had a complete good game.
8- Maybe we can. Berry hopefully will grab a couple.

But, it is football and anything can happen. So, GO VOLS!

I Really think Stephens will play with the poise and consistency of a veteran quarterback. If we get better O-Line play then it can really open up the running game which will allow stephens to throw effectively.

Mine would go more like this.........

1. Find some heart and leadership on this team!! Someone has got to step up as a player!!!

2. Start Monterio Hardesty and let him play most of the first half and see what he is capable of and rotate him with Creer.

3. Chavis send the dang house on every play let our "great secondary" play 1 on 1 on the edge the whole game and let Berry and Morley rome the field.

4. RECEIVERS........CATCH THE FREAKIN BALL WHEN THROWN TO U!!!

5. FOSTER & CROMPTON........Stay home, this game is too important for you to cough the ball up and blow it for us. You and Crompton should stay home and practice up on your handoff exchange.

6. HAVE SOME INTENSITY BOTH FROM PLAYERS AND COACHES!!!!!!

7. O-Line Block somebody PLEASE!!!!!! And for GOD sakes Knock the other teams hands down at the line of scrimmage I am so tired of seeing passes knocked down by D lineman.

8. And for our D-Line get your dang hands up and make some plays up front. The only way to stop "Knowshow" is to disrupt the play in the backfield. And for that to happen you gotta get some pressure.

9. And if all these dont work..... dont worry next year we will have a better leader!

If you want to win in football, you gotta score more points than the other team.

Just like everyone said to stay away from Athens in 1998, and 2004, and 2006... all 3 years, the Vols were supposed to lose big and actually won. Funny how a game is not won on paper alone.

Thanks for giving us a nice list of what every team should try to do in order to win.

Oh, and could we try to use a little more class with our "user title?"

NIU is ranked 24th in the NCAA in total defense. Similarly, Georgia is ranked 22nd. Florida is 19th. Auburn is 7th. UAB is 113th. and UCLA is 70th.
