Keep the faith - watch this

Miami busts through the T when Tennessee takes the field. Not sure why that was allowed.

Football sure has changed in the last 30 years.

Go Vols, VFL

What a great game that was. One of the greatest in Tennessee history. Couldn't be there but watched it on TV. Keith Jackson and Frank Broyles got my hackles up early so I turned the sound off completely and listened to the great John Ward.

Ken Donahue formulated a defensive masterpiece and our players carried it out to perfection. Vinny Testaverde spent most of the night just trying to stay alive. The Big Orange defense sacked him 6 times. I think it was the first offensive series of the game for Miami when Jimmy Johnson faked a punt on 4th down. I knew then that they were scared.

I will never forget during a dead ball early in the game when Andre Cramer walked up to a Miami wide receiver (Benny Blades?) and gave him a forearm uppercut beneath his facemask, lifting him off the ground and onto his backside setting the tone for the defense. And who can forget Jeff Powell's long run. Wow, what a game.

Thanks for bringing back good memories.

Great memories, we tore up the town that night. I remember counting all 1400 Miami fans at the game, my only regret is paying $220 for a pair of tickets I could have bought for $10 before kickoff.

Bourbon street was absolutely nuts. I'm sure its like that every year with every team but that year was so fun because there were soooo many Vols there.

I remember going out to dinner with my parents because they'd pay and I could keep my "meal money" from the Pride for Bourbon St. I came back to my hotel room and all my roommates were out. I hit Bourbon St and within 2 blocks saw someone I knew. It was like that all week.
