I liked the original Alien.

But Predator is one of all time favorites.

Swap Sigourney and Arnold in those two movies. Which one would be better? Again I like both but Sigourney isn't leading an elite rescue squad in the deep jungle of South America fighting an expert alien hunter along with guerillas. Arnold OTOH can easily save Newt's bish azz.

IIRC, the aliens killed all the predators except one. He got away in his space craft after blowing up the place but he either had an alien hatching in his belly or he had a face sucker on his ship or something like that, and that was how it ended.

I‘m sure Arnold could have gotten ET back to his ship, gone through marine boot camp in the Vietnam war, and learned Karate. Wtf are you talking about?!?

I've always thought of Predator as an Aliens rip-off. Equipping each soldier with a helmet cam was a great idea. It served the purpose of identifying each individual, while also providing point of view vantage points to bring the audience closer to the conflict ... but it was James Cameron's idea, that the Predator filmmakers shamelessly stole.

Gotta go with Aliens ... in a big way on this one. Also, with Cameron's close relationship with Arnold, I feel like an opportunity was missed. Why didn't Arnold play Hicks (instead of the bland Michael Biehn) in Aliens? Then, Predator wouldn't have even been necessary.

Aliens is a better film but I enjoy Predator a lot too. Tough call but I have to go with Aliens.
