Patterson and Croom are fully aware of what the other is doing. If Bullard doesn't count against the numbers then we have 9 more spots contingent on enough leaving to have roster spots open. In, fact many people would have to leave to sign the full 24 anyway so you might as well call it 9. My mistake.

Pardon my ignorance but I'm assuming this is Cordarrelle Patterson? I only ask becasue there are two JC Patterson WRs this year, the other being Pat Patterson.

Sab, or anyone else who knows, whats the deal on Pat Patterson? He was a 5* a couple of years ago before being dismissed from Ole Miss. He has us listed as one of his 6 schools on Rivals. Is he even being considered by the coaching staff?

No, we haven't targeted him. I remember him as a 4 star on Rivals but that's just my recollection.

Indeed, the Patterson discussed here is Corradelle. He's suspected of being a silent.

I also think we are targeting an athlete who can be a dynamic playmaker which we can line up at multiple positions so I'll add Pig as my 9th selection. Could be someone else, but it wouldn't surprise me if we picked up a guy who could play that role.

He was, and the #4 WR. He was a 5* on Scout. It just seems like he had a ton of talent. Any idea why we aren't interested? Character issues?

There are character concerns. He was given several chances with Ole Miss. It was never said what he did to get dismissed, but I would think it was continual failed drug tests. It has that fingerprint.

Why would a JUCO WR be affected by what a high schooler does? In most cases (especially with what they have on campus now) you recruit HS WR's to come in here and help 2-3 years down the road, not right away. Patterson they are recruiting to play immediately. I dont see the correlation between the two at all.

What kind of grades does McCullers have? I keep seeing him on all these want lists, but I also keep hearing his grades a huge question mark. With the new signing rules in the SEC would they take a chance on someone like him?

Also I wouldn't be surprised if we'll see a few Andrew Power's or Juda Parker's pop up on the current commit list down the road at some point. They aren't going to turn away any big-time talents because of being "full".

I'm not trying to be a downer but why are a lot of people thinking Rivals is going to give Patterson and Autry a 5star rating? Or any JUCO kids for that matter. There were zero 5star JUCO's last year, 1 in 2010 and only 1 in 2009. I hope Patterson and Autry get 5stars, especially if they choose UT, but I just don't see it happening. Rivals seems to be pretty stingy with their 5stars for JUCO's.

I would like to add Howard in there but just dont see it. I am going to leave the rest open for someone coming in late like last season. Dooley seems to have that down pat and I would expect someone else this season to come from off the radar at the end of the season.

I thought Bullard would only count against the 85, but PRABJ was posting that he had to be included in a class. I dont know if that is a new rule or not.

either OBrien or Kirven (or Tomlinson)-two of them if they could but probably one of them,
plus the last 2-3 as best remaining prospects regardless of position- I randomly picked

but in that group would also be Keith Marshall, Alton Howard, Joel Caleb, Nelson Agholor, Landon Collins, Keith Brown, and others.

I really don't see us reaching down to a Tysean Holloway level player this year just to fill the class.

I expect us to be a top 10 recruiting class by NSD.
