I'm not a recruiting guru or hawk like many VN posters are, so I'd like to reverse the other thread. Give us your view of the top 8 SEC players who under performed their recruiting rankings or stars, injuries not held against a player. Who ya got?

I'll nominate 6 of Bama's top 10 signees that year.

So it appears Bama, LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia, Auburn and Florida all did a worse job at evaluating talent than we did.

I doubt it since UT finished behind 3 of them in the final rankings, while beating 1 of them on a hail mary and the other playing in the West.

But, sure.

If you mean that Tennessee recruited more 3 star players and had crappy results on the field then yes we evaluated talent better than they did. All that means is that Tennessee knew it was recruiting the table scraps.

I love talking to UGA fans but I always get confused when they talk about "that game we won but should have lost to UT". Apparently the rest of the country calls it the Hobnail Boot game. Who knew

What is question of thread title? Then do research and respond with something pertinent to 2014 classes and the top 8 busts.
