The stage is set to for him. Westbrook going down should've been a blessing in disguise. He was supposed to take over and lead the team and when Russ came back he would have a redefined role.

Not looking that way. So far. It has only been a few games. I really think that we see the best Durant has next game.

Dude the media would rip him into tiny pieces. I don't like LBJ but the criticism got ridiculous. He did bring a lot on himself, but people went overboard.

I said this exact thing. He could have taken over and said "Russ second fiddle" when he came back. He's kind of going the opposite direction. All my bashing of Russ and praising of KD in the past, I can't even believe I'm typing this stuff. Maybe it is Russ's team, maybe it should be. Hopefully KD restores my brain, cause right now it's telling me weird things.

It's Durant's team.

They're still trying to figure out how to play without him, that includes Kevin.

Easy for us to say "just shoot it" but I think he's trying to do some of the things that Westbrook did. Penetrate and dish. He did that several times. Teammates just didn't hit the shot.

Crazy to be critiquing a guy who had 36 points. None in the fourth though and his demeanor at the end of the game was the worst part.

Probably, Russ has that IDGAF attitude. Anybody who dresses like him clearly doesn't care what people think. He would just take the ball and score. KD is too self conscious. I think Lebron kinda was too in 2011, maybe scared and also wanted to get people involved maybe 35/65?

Plus Russ wouldn't have quit, that's what bugs me the most about tonight. LBJ was young and played that way, when he got that old man stomp you throat mentality, things changed. IMO

This series has turned out to be a lot better than I thought it would. I'm sure Westbrook's injury has a lot to do with it.
