Those two games…how many were at the swamp? My gawd man, you do know that Tennessee has won the last two of three right? You are living in the past. The "we cannot beat Florida" is now onto Georgia. The swamp won't be a problem by the time these teams play. Florida is headed for another 6 or 7 loses before then with the they way they are playing.
Certainly Florida on the road and I believe OU here as well. We will beat both those teams this year. Not sure on Bama.Do I want any of this to happen? No! I want to be gloriously, spectacularly, unremittingly wrong about it, you don't know how badly I want to be wrong!
So, which one(s) of the following do you think TN's D can stop?
AL on the road
FL on the road
OK at home
Because, in order to not go 8-4 TN's gonna have to beat one of those. OK seems to be the best shot since it's at home but their QB is having a day (282-1-1, 51 yd rush TD)
That's 8-4
And if they lose one they shouldn't, as they frequently do? (see AR last year)
That's 7-5
What's inaccurate about the above?
I hate to say it but losing three more games and a trip to the gator bowl with this atrocious defense. Banks defenses haven’t stopped a good team since he’s been here smdh
You do know both were in Knox and it's been since 2003 since we won there? Not sure how ANY fan could be overconfident with 10 straight losses in the Swamp and in Tuscalooser. But, I know unrealistic overconfidence is what our fanbase excels at.My gawd man, you do know that Tennessee has won the last two of three right? You are living in the past. No, not really. You really are crazy doing that with a vulnerable defense.Has it occurred to anyone that maybe we are taking a play out of the Kirby playbook? Play conservative to inferior competition and give our stronger foes a sense that we are not that good! Then when we play them they have a false sense of security and don’t expect us to be a good team! I studied at the war college in the military and in Sun Tzu’s art of war you never reveal your strengths to your enemy until it’s too late! Just a thought? I believe we are still a good team and will win most of our remaining games but hell in order to be a long time Vil fan you have to be an eternal optimist LOL
Should’ve made this thing bold in all caps for the people in the backThere are a lot of posters on here that don’t have a very high football IQ. GBO! First half stats- Tennessee 266 yards. 163 rushing yards. UAB 56 total yards with 4 yards rushing and a whopping 52 passing. Note to novices Tennessee emptied the bench in the second half. Please try to comprehend. These are factual stats! GBO!!!!!
They’re beatable but I’m not ready to say we will win that one. I want to see how they do this coming weekend and then the 2 after. If they go 2-1, likely a toss up. 3-0, they should probably beat us, worse than 2-1 and we should probably beat them. Of course, that’s a very simple way of looking at it but I’d expect them to lose to UGA in the road and then beat Vandy at home and Mizzou on the road.Bama is definitely beatable lol
