I think you are overreacting. Since we won in Athens, Tennessee hasn’t come close to beating Georgia, and yet we still have posted two 10 win seasons and have gone to the playoffs. Yet the year we go toe to toe with them and lose in OT when we should have won with a 4th down stop up 8 or a field goal while playing TWO freshman corners and at least one starting freshman Dlineman, we are going 8-4 and Tim sucks? Tim’s defenses improved in every category every years since being here. You may think it comical but it's closer to the reality of the end of the season than a natty
Down three starters and still had us in position to win this game. Georgia is likely the most talented, and definitely the best coached team we will see this season. We aren’t going 8-4. Im not into moral victories but I am even more confident in this Vols squad after the game today.
And as much as I love having Heupel as our coach, I hope that he finally realizes that you don’t win close games against big opponents by playing not to lose. I’ve said it til I’m blue in the face but after we forced the fumble we shouldve been aggressive and tried to score a touchdown. That would’ve put the game away.
I would love to be, but what in recent memory makes you believe we are wining on the road against bot Bama and UF? Or, not lose a head scratcher on the road? I’m honestly asking, because we have seen this before where all evidence points to us beating UF and we still can’t do it on the road. And call me a conspiracy nut, nega, whatever but I don’t see us beat Bama and the officials in Tuscaloosa. Hell, we couldn’t even get obvious calls at home today.nope, sorry your wrong
