Down three starters and still had us in position to win this game. Georgia is likely the most talented, and definitely the best coached team we will see this season. We aren’t going 8-4. Im not into moral victories but I am even more confident in this Vols squad after the game today.

And as much as I love having Heupel as our coach, I hope that he finally realizes that you don’t win close games against big opponents by playing not to lose. I’ve said it til I’m blue in the face but after we forced the fumble we shouldve been aggressive and tried to score a touchdown. That would’ve put the game away.

Take a breath and give this loss some space before you liock in on this one. Yes, we gave this one away. We also should have beat UGA at #6 in the first competitive game since Dobbs, Boot, Nail. A lot of good given we have a banged up D.

Losses:

AL & FL on the road (if Sunbelt Billy still has a job he'll have it next year)

OK at home

& TN always seems to lose a game they shouldn't, hopefully this was it

If this wasn't the game they lose that that they shouldn't

Yep, people can get mad about that but it’s true. Same as today felt like the best chance in nearly a decade to win and yet it didn’t happen.

You are right unfortunately. Bama and florida on the road. OU later in year. Thats if we dont hiccup @Vandy or @msu. 8-9win season. This is the worst uga team in years and we still found a way to blow it

Doubtful, as we'll get Hobbs, Moi, and McCoy back at some point. Plus, Georgia still has a good offense. Really only Oklahoma and maybe Bama actually have good offenses of our remaining games.

The Ms. State game concerns me, honestly. I don’t expect to see McCoy back before Arkansas (they will give him through the bye week at earliest - not sure if we see him after that or not). And who knows about the others? They will come in to that game 4-0 and it will be a huge game for them. It’s a night game and will be the biggest game they’ve had there in years. Get through that one and I think 10-2 is on the table (I also think 7-5 isn’t totally off the table either though)

No sir, your aggravated and so im I, but our kids put it all out there today, gave there all! l feel like this team will exceed our expectations. Have a blessed night
