Wow! I'm trying to remember a press conference in any sport where I felt like I'd learned this much about the coach, the players, the team... JUST LOVE LISTENING TO THIS COACH!

The way she talks about the freshmen this early is encouraging. Looks like some are going to be big contributors. Civil another Cooper that is definitely exciting.

How refreshing to hear an intelligent, articulate coach actually address the questions, rather than the usual pablum spew coach speak we have all heard so many times. She is a winner.

This made me more ready for the season. Part of that experience is also listening to Kim's takes on things, which I have sorely missed but didn't realize it till I played the clip. It was great to hear how she described this team in needing to slow them down, and how this is better problem to have than last year in which she had to retrain players on how to play faster.

A trick that sometimes works:
On a lot of these, if you click on the closed captions box, it will reveal what question is being asked, even if the mic is barely picking it up.
Of course, you then have to translate the spelling phonetically, like from "ball" into "Vol" or "Prawl"
...whose full name in this video got cc'd as "Daiball."

Also, there was a good question about "me and my Apollo..."

In etymology that's called rebracketing. Many Middle English nouns that originally started with a vowel or the letter n got rebracketed, so that an ewt eventually became "a newt," and a napron became "an apron."

Pertinent point? If you were a VFL speaking Middle English, you'd be cheering for the Big Naranj!

Geez, has any school in the country ever had a more impressive leadership team than Randy Boyd, Donde, Dr Danny, Barnes, Heupel, Tony V and Kim.

And this after the series of clowns and buffoons we had early this century.

One incident is not a pattern. Someone dropped a rumor that another player "might be in trouble" but until evidence materializes that is just internet noise.
