In regulation we had gained more yards than any team in a&m's HISTORY. When was the last time our offense had that kind of performance? That is insane! We hold onto the ball we beat Bama. 'NUFF SAID.

You can take positives from a loss like you can take negatives from a victory.

No one is saying moral victory. You can take positives from a loss though. You do realize that?

That's not what you guys say when people point out problems(turnovers, penalties, poor discipline) during wins....

Why the difference?

Moral victories!!! I thought we were past that.

I thought we were past stupidity as well, but you've proven otherwise. There is a lot of positive to take away from this game, but you "cup half full" people have to swoop in and try to tarnish a rather decent night.

Good offensive effort. Came up short though and turnovers hurt us bad.

Bama is going to try and exploit us next week.

I think we hung 700 yards or close to that playing against Miss State back in 2003. We won that game by quite a bit. I think we scored in the 50's that game.

We were ranked in the top 10 at the time. I honestly don't believe that we've put 700 yards up on another team since then until tonight against A&M.

That was 13 years ago so maybe we could have done it. Thanks! Edit: Nope, not against Miss State either. 665 yards total against them.

I forgot about WKU in 2009. We may have put that much offense up on them. We won 63-7 & that's the year Lane Kiffin was here. Edit: Nope, we didn't quite make it to 700 yards offense. It was over 650 though.

I just found the last time we had over 700 yards of total offense. It wasn't too far back actually. It was against Troy in 2012: Troy vs. Tennessee - Team Statistics - November 3, 2012 - ESPN

We had 718 total yards that game but we only beat them by 7 points 52-45. Troy had more total yards than us at 721. Good grief!

We had 645 total yards against South Carolina at the Gamecocks back in 2014 with that tremendous comeback with again Dobbs leading the way. We won that one 45-42.
