ouch

@MagicJohnson LN: Dwight, I've been swept before but I never let my team down by getting kicked out of the game.

For real. If Magic wants to get holier than thou, Dwight made a poor decision in the heat of the moment to get ejected. It has no impact on the Lakers future. They weren't getting out of this series. Magic Johnson was still arguably the best player in the NBA when actions from his personal life ended his career. He let his teammates and organization down more than any Laker ever. He had at least 4 more years of prime, IMO. He's forgiven because he earned so much grace, which Dwight hasn't earned, but I don't think Dwight's ejection is a big deal at all.

I know the Lakers have to get younger, but Pau Gasol and Metta World Peace will be good pickups for two teams next season. Metta isn't a starter, but he's still a tough guy who can hit open shots. He's not an elite defender anymore, but he's matured a ton. Pau has never been a number one guy, but he's severely disrespected. Of course, he plays soft and has old legs, but he's a great post passer, good low post scorer and can extend the post, too.

If I'm Denver, I'd make a run at Pau Gasol. They have assets to trade, and that gives them a true center who can score down low, something they don't have right now.

Good Lord! Metta, Blake and Nash are all out for tomorrow. This season can't end soon enough.

This season was over when D White hit LA. He is talented. But he is not a winner. He is not committed to doing whatever it takes to win. We can not build a championship around such a weak-minded "star" player. I hope we do not resign him. Time to redo the roster and see if Phil will come back to finish up these last few Kobe years. Good night to a nightmare of a season.

Magic "could" have still played with Aids, he was in shape and ready to go. D White can NOT play after being kicked out of the game for whining like a big *****. Difference there.

That's messed up.

Also, magic is part owner of the team, so he can be as critical as he likes, you doodlehead.

Also because he's an American and the first amendment. Not to mention he's a member of the press. I'm not saying he can't say it. I'm saying he should think twice about being so judgmental.

Magic was in great shape and ready to go in 93-94, except Karl Malone acted like a little ***** and then it become a big ass deal because the country was uneducated about the issue.
