7-5 Still possible

We need Worley to stay healthy. Run double TE sets or Jumbo sets to help with blocking. Play field position and hope we get some breaks. Worley is one player we can not afford to get hurt.
IOW, play small ball.

Oh, how I long for the small ball days 8-9-10-11 win seasons.....

Looking at our remaining schedule 7-5 is still possilbe.

Ole Miss.
Bama at home
USCe
Mizzou
Kentucky
Vandy

Even though I'm not convinced we lose to Ole Miss and Bama for the sake of argument mark them as losses.

South Carolina's defense is terrible. - win

Mizzou very beatable - win

Kentucky I feel pretty good having this game at home. If it was in Kentucky I would be scared. - So at home I'll call it a win.

Vandy is just bad - win.

We will go bowling this year.

So will anyone's attitude change if they manage a 7-5 record this year?
I am nearly certain you had us beating FLA too.

Mizzou. 40% 5 point dog
Kentucky 75% 6.5 favorite

I was good before the season with a 6-6 season and still am, but the offensive line play this season causes not only for concern this year but also for next year.

We can beat UK, Mizzou and Vandy. I'm not convinced USCe is better than us either. Problem is, with a crappy OL all the other talent on the field is negated when you can't run the ball or protect the QB. We're just as likely to go 4-8 as we are to go 7-5.

Tennessee has a better shot to go 4-8 than to go 7-5.

Both are absolutely possible. But 4-8 seems easier to imagine.

How frustrating is it that if we had even a 90th ranked OL (out of 125 teams) we would be 4-1 right now and could run the SEC east? But nope. We are stuck with THE worst OL in history of the FBS. Ahh.... so good to be a UT fan the past decade.

Worst coach ever-Dooley
Worst defense ever
Worst o line ever
Lost to the worst Florida team in forever

The Tennessee struggle is real.

as long as we can make it to a bowl game,i don't care what our record is
we need the extra practice the bowl game would give us

After the way Mizzou played I think 6-6 is very possible with 7-5 being a great touch. Let's hope we can pull it off

I am nearly certain you had us beating FLA too.

I may have drooped a couple of "we gonna whoop them"

But I knew it was a toss up just because they are Fla. Too many ppl calling for us to win and Fla.'s off week had me worried. I was telling ppl at work I was worried by Thursday before the game.

But not once after the game did I slam anyone on the team or coaches.

I maybe a sunshine pumper but momma didn't raise a cry baby.

USCe's D may not be any better than ASU's. Mizzou could be a problem because of their DE's... but their back 7 is terrible.

I think both will struggle badly against UT's D.

Not denying our defense. I think our defense actually keeps the Ole Miss and Bama games respectable. We got sacked, what was it, 8 times in the UGA game and still stayed in it? If the line steps it up just a little, then we can make things interesting. I just haven't seen anything to get me to believe they will. I wanna believe, I just can't.
