7-5 should not be extra year for Dooley.

I heard Jimmy Himes on 104.5 this morning saying that he heard from a "very reliable" source that Dooley will not be fired if he wins out. Just thought I'd share FWIW.

SAD but maybe UT has given up....financial situation must rule....Football simply doesn't mean what it once did....we sure are digging a hole that we may not be able to recover from....I can't stay interested if the university doesn't care enough to do what it takes to build the program to compete with the other top SEC schools. The Tennessee Vols were once considered one of the top Football schools in the country.....now were the team considered an automatic win for all the SEC schools....makes me sick and my favorite time of the year depressing

Even though I think he should befired- if the Vols win the next 4 , he will be back. The 5 Million buyout looms large- but the most likely outcome is that this team cannot sustain effort for 4 games. Based on history- they will let down in 1 of those games , and if it happens vrs Mo or Vandy, we will lose. He is a deadman at 6-6 and should resign at that point- but we know he wont. New topic- does it offend you ( it does me) that Jabari Greer wont say hes from UT during introductions. I suppose I should be glad, since he is one of the players on the WORST defense in NFL history thru 8 games, but is gets under my skin. Greer makes 4.5 mil to be an ave player on a terrible defense- by contrast Romo who has been to pro bowls only makes 7 M as a QB . Whats wrong with this picture?
