68 years old

I would assume with him being 68 years old that he did watch last year. And he is right, this is the worst team...
Then he watched the UMass game last season... today's game was a carbon copy of that. Maybe it's out of frustration or he could just be a troll (99% of his post history is very negative), but to pretend that this team is worse than last year's, just doesn't wash.

You thinking of the 2011 game where the Cats won 10-7? The 2012 game we destroyed UK right? I’m almost positive....
That's correct. We won the 2012 game over Kentucky with Jim Chaney as our interim head coach. Dooley had just been fired... maybe we should have done that a few games earlier in the season and not given away a home game to Missouri that year?

Being 68 or 28 is irrelevant.

And no, hes wrong. This years team beat a ranked SEC team on the road. That trumped any 2 wins the flute guy had last year while he was getting his contract for his buyout set up.

Another year and all of this year we beat an Auburn team on the road and followed it up with nothing...yahoo, we had a SEC win on the road. Now that should take us through another dreary summer. At least a decent coach could create a little excitement for his fans....this season has turned miserable and the off season will be as well...man that's a long long dry run

The alternative is simple.

Well, at least Tennessee will match, with a win today, their win total for last season. Only one direction to go next season.

We said that last season. Somebody needs to bump the record player, the needle is stuck.

I'm just as sorry, but that remains to be seen... We would probably be just as bad with Butch as coach and maybe even a little worse... When did Butch beat a ranked team on the road while at Tennessee? Never! (And yes, Auburn was ranked when we played them)
Auburn beat A&M.....

Yep that win was nice. However the ass kickings coming our way in the next few weeks are likely to erase those feelings. Well for most fans. Obviously you're not gonna be one of them.

and I have never seen a Tennessee team this bad. We cannot do anything right or well.
This is a sad time for Tennessee.
We seem to be regressing. I did not know we could get any worse.
Lord help us. Have pity on us.

well....last year was worse, for sure

Before my time, but Battle inherited great team, which he coached into getting worse and worse every single year. His teams never improved from the prior season. Not once.

Yeah Freak and people get on here saying we don't know football. Well, we have seen the time they had bad coaching and recruiting and observed it when they had good coaching and improved and was competitive. So some of us know what it is when we see it and what it isn't when we see it because we have years of experience . After all those coaches have faded into the past all us older folk want is for Pruitt to win one for the gipper.
10 to 12 years is a long time for us;)

If this team can’t really improve by the end of next season then Pruitt wasn’t the right coach...we will see. He won’t get any extension until after year 3 if he’s lucky....

The silly part is Charlotte probably spends about 10 million to field their team, UT spends 100 million.

A lot of money just magnifies and intensifys what they already are. That goes for coaches and players, we even see it in the NFL.

This years team would beat last years by at least 21 probably lmao. This was an UGLY game but let’s be be real. We aren’t as bad as this game would indicate. Team didn’t give a ****. Got to work on that.
Yeah they took the week off . Alot of backups played . Banks is the 5th string back and he played the most.

Because he played your nephew more. Heard he’s transferring as well. Good kid but bye.

To be honest its not because my nephew dont play like he use to that dont bother me because I know why he dont play and its nothing to do with his ability Pruitt just dont like his size he wants big Lumbering WR..Thats why Murphy dont play..2 of ur best route runners never get the ball and never see the field..The way this offense look hell even if Brandon was playing they aint gonna throw the ball to him..As far as transferring my nephew never said anything about that..I would appreciate if u guys dont put that transferring rumors out there...One thing about me I post facts..I never post lies on here the things I say be facts people on here just dont want to accept it..

Hiring Butch Jones was the low point.
That’s just it.
Butch Jones had things on the edge of taking “the next step” but just couldn’t get it done. Pride.....stupidity.....whatever the reason he just didn’t learn from his mistakes. And he eventually lost the team. But there were reasons to believe he could have been a success.
I’m old and remember a lot of things and while Butch Jones was an absolute failure he wasn’t the low point.
