WTF!?! Do they not see how we're playing right now. Ole Miss will be the only game that should challenge us. Stupid!

Tennessee: If the Vols finish 8-4, the Cotton and Outback are possibilities. The Outback also would be a possibility at 7-5. A 6-6 record likely would mean the Liberty or Music City, two in-state games that would benefit from the Vols' presence. The projection: Music City.

Since Kentucky is looking so tough right now. I doubt Monte knows how to contain a true frosh QB.

Hardesty is also nervous about facing Kentucky's run D that gave up 352 yards on the ground to Miss. St last week.

I could see 7-5 but 6-6? I'm not saying it can't happen but I would be surprised.

That makes you angry? Those are just the possibilities, and the fact that they aren't even considering that we'd lose more than 2 of 4 is showing respect, imo. Especially when compared to the beginning of the year. We've still got to play the games.
Really, all of this attention is because we just blew out a ranked team. We need to beat the remaining 4 even worse to keep this hype, which I think we can.

Must be Bammers.

Seriously, I get a feeling from this board that UT fans have already assumed UT has got 8-4 in the bag. There is still 4 games (including two sec road games). So lets take it one game at a time. If CLK gets this team to 7-5 plus a bowl win its a solid first year. 8-4 with a bowl win would be an outstanding result, and not an expected one, IMO.

If you read closely you will see why people get a little angry. Memphis (horrible), Vandy (2-7), Kentucky (just lost to Miss State), and Ole Miss (very spotty to say the least, depends on who shows up if it even makes a game). Thats not showing respect for a program on the RISE! GO VOLS BEAT MEMPHIS!

Music City would probably like the UGA or Ole Miss for purposes of getting out of state travellers to fill the hotels and restaurants downtown. The Barn would probably be their third choice, followed by UTK in fourth. Memphis might be a good place to play for the sole purpose of giving the next few years worth of Memphis area football prospects a chance to see the Vols program up close.

They never predict 6-6 in the article. "Most likely" refers to 'most likely bowl game'. Poor interpretation by OP. They just give the bowl options for our possible final records, leaving out the possibility that we will lose out or only beat Memphis (which would be 5 wins & no bowl).
SEC games are tough. Every team, including Vandy and UK, has good talent. UK beat Auburn. For all we know, Ole Miss or VU or UK will play their 'game of the year' against us. Remember what Ole Miss did to UF last year? That's why they say to take them 1 at a time.
Plus, add in the poor officiating and Frazier's injury and you really never know. I'm excited to see the rest of the games, though! 8-4 wouldn't surprise me at all.

At the end, they predict us to play in the Music City Bowl, just sayin.
