We have players on our roster still right now that were being recruited to bigger programs than us. Especially at WR and RB. This offense will be fun to watch once they learn the system and build chemistry.

They do in most cases and regression certainly should be a factor in evaluating your next HC hire.

If u can find regression in 6 regular season losses in 3 years then u might never find a coach. The biggest factor in hiring this coach is to address our biggest weakness, which is Quaterback. How many Qb's have we tried since Dobbs?? Even with him that wasnt Botch it was all god given ability for Dobbs. This coach actually is a proven qb guru. We got a ton of issues but fixing the most important position on the field will go along towards bringing UT back.

Covid as an excuse is ridiculous. Every single program dealt with it. The winning team overcame it as much as the losing team was hindered by it.

Silly. There may be other issues to consider, but blaming any comparative record on Covid is a non starter.
