Are you speaking specifically on regular season? Not sure if the article specifies. You don't believe over?

had to go back and edit the OP.

Vegas win totals are regular season only. So out of a total of 12 games, they're saying 10.5. So if you think we win 11 or more before the conference championship, you'd take the over. If you think we go 10-2 or less in the regular season, you'd take the under.

Regular season is 12 games, so I specified that by saying 10-2. I think we may wind up playing 14 total games and we finish with 11 or 12 wins in that case. But for regular season, I'm guessing 10-2.

Smart bet is under.

Really?

We basically have a 4 game season.

We have the talent. We play our 2 toughest opponents at home (Alabama and Florida). The two road games are against teams with lots of questions (Georgia and A&M).

To say under, you're basically saying we're not better than .500 against teams that matter next year.

I think we go a minimum 11-1 next year.

Most likely 12-0.

But that 4 game stretch comes before an open date. That's what worries me. And when is the last time UT had a quality road win? That shouldn't mean anything to the '16 squad, but history hasn't been kind to the Vols.

Yep, and we basically had a 5 game season last year....and went 1-4. Going .500 against "teams that matter" this year would be a great improvement over going .200 last year. After all, it's "a process".

Goodness gracious. This is yalls problem. Battered and bruised fans. I don't have this problem.

Tennesse has NEVER had a team this talented. So history is irrelevant.

So you are predicting more epic collapses this year?

We went 1-4 because Butch Jones and the staff chocked away 3 double-digit leads. Including 2 in the 4th quarter.

Plus our 5 opponents last year were better than our 4 this year.

I don't expect the collapses. I also expect team 120 to be better than it's 4 big opponents by a wider margin than team 119 was against it's 5 big opponents last year.

Minimum expectation for 2016 is 11-1 IMO.

I'm saying Texas A&M because after we beat Florida and Georgia, we'll be on an emotional high and cocky, and it's the week before Alabama. Lest you forget we still haven't had a bye week either. Further, we're going TO Kyle Field, and we seem to struggle against our other West opponents... A&M may be having some off the field issues, but that doesn't discount the fact that they are still very loaded and Knight is a good QB..

Uhhhh....is Butch Jones, who's a career 3-18 vs Top 25 teams still our head coach? Answer your own question.

I don't worry about this team getting too high. I think they play better when their confidence is sky high not worse.

I don't expect any slip ups. If we lose in the regular season next year it'll be to a team that simply plays better than we do. And the only team with that ability is Alabama.

Our schedule is top heavy every year and needs to be shuffled , no buffers between the tough games. How do you win half a game. 10.5
