50th Wedding Anniversary Poem

[BACKDOC]

I'm writing a poem for my parent's 50th. Some of it is Vol related. Thought you might like to hear that part.

If they don't make it another 50 years, and their problems they can't solve.

Papaw says, "no sweat; I'll just move to Knoxville, and live with Coach Pat and the Lady Vols."

If Nanny goes on to heaven before Papaw, things just won't be the same,

But Papaw says, "there's 2 things I don't miss, that's the ole lady, and a Tennessee football game."

Living in separate cities only brings about Petrino-like behavior in guys....................imo

Congrats to them for such a long marriage. 20 for me and mine next month. I hust hope one of us is alive in 30 more years. I remember my grandparents had a 50th. It was pretty cool.

Im closer than a lot of you guys at 33 yrs, but 50 is still a generation away. I do raise vol fans though. That just means there will be another fan to raise.
