We're going for the 500th win at Neyland Stadium this Saturday.

If you're going to be there, do all you can do to help make history!

I know "I will give my all for Tennessee today!" (Saturday)

That's pretty awesome. Glad I will be there to possibly see that and Eric Berry break the INT record possibly as well.

Is it 500th game or 500th win. I looked up Michigan and they have just over 500 games with about 375+ wins.

I believe Georgia Tech is the only school with more wins at their home stadium and it opened 8 years before Neyland (or something like that).

the UTSPORTS website showed 509 games with 398 wins. If this was up to date coming into the season, the game Saturday would represent the 400th win.

Straight off the UCLA Game Notes:

"A victory over UCLA on Saturday would be the Vols 500th all-time win in Knoxville. Though games have been played at multiple venues, Tennessee has won 499 all-time home games. The Vols' Knoxville record stands at 499-132-5 (.788)."

There's the clarifier.

Here's the "Shields - Watkins" info (through 2008)

Tennessee success at Shields-Watkins Field:
In 82 seasons and 509 games, the Vols are 398-94-17 at home, a winning percentage of .799.

Looks like 400 for this venue. It would be cool if it's a 400-500 day for the Vols.

Not sure who's doing the math at UTSPORTS but the winning percentage based on those numbers is not .799. It's .78 if you count all the games (509) and .81 if you throw out the ties.

Ties are counted as half a win and half a loss for % purposes.

I mean really... .010 difference and you are haggling about it?
