No way Jose. You see what goes on, it's quite comical actually. Free thinkers with similar ideas are fine - and there are plenty of fine posters that share ideas on several sides of most debates. But this board has a cliq of hatnation without a doubt.

Too bad most of those votes are butt-hurt message board fans, who more than likely contribute nothing to UT. The internet is and always will be a very poor way to truly measure how things are really are at any university.

Wow it's still at 91% - 8% with more than 20,000 votes now. Not that it's surprising, but seeing the real thing is kinda neat.

You're right but I don't think anyone can deny that Hamilton is not very popular right now.

And how much of that unpopularity, do you suppose, is because people are upset at the idea of him firing Pearl, hiring Kiffin, and firing Fulmer?

Which of the those decisions do you disagree with?

Youre reading way too much into what I posted. I was just commenting on what the general feeling seems to be. I have no problem with any of the decisions you referenced.

I wasn't making a point of your post, but with it. I know generally where you stand on those issues, and knew you'd understand where I was coming from.

I just find it funny that a bunch of people think a poll on GVX is in any way a legitimate argument for the retention of Pearl. I'd suspect that many, and I do mean many, of those that voted for Pearl have long disliked Hamilton for his ouster of Fulmer, and the hiring of Kiffin. Throw in everybody's favorite crying liar, and the poll becomes severely biased.
