Fair point about the inconsistancy. But that can be chalked up to year one of a new coach. I don't think they win 12 games. But if they play to their potential they could win their conference

He may have been messing with me on the whole 4 win part, but he is stone cold serious about Missouri winning the east. I have tried to tell him that things are much different in the SEC in that we have pretty good defenses over here, and he will be facing defenses that rank top 25 overall in the nation nearly every week and not top 40-60 overall every week. He doesn't get it. I laughed the 4 wins because it wasn't even worth it. He will understand soon enough.

So the board is about 50/50. I think it could go either way myself. My brother n law is one of those in your face, my team is better then yours so I wasn't going to back down on the bet. Plus he's a NY Giants fan so he's on a holy high horse kick right now. I hope the Vols pull through on this because I would love to rub it in.

Yeah sorry about that I usually get that stuff right. I was tailgating at a concert in Philly and was on my phone, so the thread probably wasn't 100% for the grammar police.

Yes! Its called Sundown Sports Pub. She's been there about 9 years or so...the owner is actually bald now so Im not sure we'll ever get to see him with orange hair : /

Poor ol granny always sporting blue and yellow hair all because the Vols have been in hard times. True VFL.

I have no confidence in Bray as a passer. He has not played a major SEC school besides Florida. Hope I'm wrong, but I think he will end up being our weakest link.

WVUs schedule sets up pretty well for them this year. Their biggest problem will be adjusting to the long travel, their closest game is like 800 miles away.
I'd day they'll win 9-10 this year plus a bowl game. Prolly not a good bet.

Woodsmanvol Team Betting Maxims

1. Bets involving your favorite team are risky because your heart often outvotes your head.

2. Never make bets total wins or loses when teams play in different conferences because it's complete unscientific.

3. If you absolutely must make the bet, do so only after you have researched as many variables as applies to all games. This includes opponents, locations, weather, distance traveled, elevations of the teams' towns, teams personnel and so forth. Then bet only if the odds are statistically in your favor.
