50 dollar bet

So my ignorant brother n law just made a bet with me that West Virginia would finish the season with a better record then the Vols. The bet is for 50 bucks. He thinks the Vols suck and will barely finish 500. What does Volnation think? I'm pretty confident that I will be 50 dollars richer at the end of the season.

WVU on offense will be solid/explosive while their D-fence is below average, risky bet because they don't play in the SEC

After looking at their schedule, I'd say you made a safe bet. If you lose this bet, I would say Tennessee will be looking for a new....well you know.

Probably a safe bet. They're not playing a Big East schedule this season. Big 12 > Big East.

Since I've been a UT fan for almost 40 years but obtained my graduate degree at WVU, I will be rooting for both teams to have good seasons.

I made the same bet, but with Notre Dame instead of WVU. I'm confident. Not sure if I would have done it with WVU, though.

I think that Dana Holgorsen is going to be a hot name next off season for big time programs looking for a coach.

West Virginia is actually going to be good this year, we'll see how they do in the new conference.

Idk, watching that college football preview thing yesterday on ESPNU the guy picked West Virginia to win it all, and there qb to win the Heisman... So you might want to cancel that bet, cause ESPN is always right..

I made a bet with a buddy for a steak dinner. Vols have a losing record I owe him a steak dinner and if they have a winning record he owes me. He thinks the vols are going to have 4 wins on the season and that Mizzou is going to win the east. I like my chances.

Just curious, as in a restaurant steak dinner? And if so, where you specific to where? The reason why I ask is that he needs to pay dearly for making a stupid bet and going against the Vols.:)
