All I know is this "Lo Pan" character comes out of thin air in the middle of an alley while his buddies are flying around on wires cutting everybody to shreds, and he just stands there waiting for me to drive my truck straight through him, with light coming out of his mouth.

This was a legitimate post and a fair question for discussion. IMO

Some people start threads just to push an agenda, such as DD is a sorry sack of **** or he can't recruit, or Gruden, Kelly or some other "big name" should be coach. They don't say these things, but their questions reflect their agendas or their dissatisfaction. I don't believe that is the case here, but some follow up responses to the OP have that tone.

We still have a shot at 5 stars, but the sky won't fall if we don't get one. A lot can happen in 6 months. Commits to other programs could be poached. Would I rather have a 5 star than a 2 or 3? Hell yeah, but the world won't end if we don't get one.

I believe each year there are about 35 or so 5* recruits and about 5 of these go on to be first round draft picks and 15-20 make it to the NFL. But it seems UT is the exception. I'm curious is to what our percentage is over the last 10 years, but I feel all the busts over the years have greatly help contribute to the downfall.
