1. We have to win the turnover battle, we are not a team that can lose this battle and come up on top in a road game, yet.

2. Tyler Bray needs to perform like the Tyler we know. We need him to play smart and efficient. UGA has a tremendous defense and we need Bray to spread the ball around and be a true leader of this team.

3. Raijon Neal needs to continue his improvement. Since game 1 he has been getting better and better. He had a great game against Florida when he was allowed to run the ball. He needs to ride the high from last week and make his presence felt in the run game. THEY HAVE TO RESPECT OUR RUN GAME FOR US TO WIN!!

4. Our linebacker have to play assignment football. This is a true playaction offense. They have a thunder and lightning running back combo and love to do dump offs, screens and use TE's over the middle. If our linebackers do not stay at home and play their position we will give up big plays and we can not afford to give up big plays.

5. Our Secondary must eliminate the big plays. The secondary has to work at pursuit angles on runs and work on bracketing the receivers on long pass plays.

If we do these five things I believe Tennessee will come away with a win, if one is missed I am afraid we will have a long Saturday afternoon.

1. We must play so far above our heads that our noses bleed for a week to ten days.
2. God in Heaven above must come down and points his hand at our side of the field.
3. Every man, woman, and child must hold hands together and pray for us to win.

1. The Bulldogs must collectively forget to set their alarms and fail to show up at the stadium.

Another key is to stay close early. We cannot fall behind by 2 or more scores early in the game. If we are not within 10 pts at the half, then we will not have a chance in the second half (unless something drastically changes our mental approach to the game).

Important key....score more points than opponent. :)

#3 & #5 most important IMO. I could NOT believe last week when we had an obvious size and strength advantage, ran the ball down their throats the first two or three plays, then THREW the ball, that resulted in a pick six. Coach Chaney keeps saying every week that he gets away from the run too soon, BUT he just keeps on doing it. I believe we can run the ball relatively well now with the improved play of our backs. WHY do we not use them more? Are the coaches afraid they're going to tick off Bray if they don't let him air it out??? Sheeesh! Insanity is defined as expecting different results by continuing to do the same thing.

Nothing to do with the talent...everything to do with the leadership.

I am one of those who lives in reality and understands that our talent level and depth is not where it needs to be to compete in the SEC. That is gradually changing. But my point was that when you have something good in your favor and don't take full advantage of it, there is something wrong. That's what I meant by my previous post.

By the "Tyler we know" do you mean the Tyler that puts up crazy numbers against the Akron's of the world, or the one that completes barely over 50% of his passes against SEC defenses? Oh, wait-that's the same guy.

Sorry-going heavy on the reverse-jinx for the rest of the week.

...I dont agree with part of number 4.... Tight ends have a combined 4 receptions in 4 games... Tailbacks have a combined 5 receptions..... wouldnt really call that a team that uses screens and TE"s over the middle alot.

We just need to "work like heck" this week in practice.

The initial post in this thread was very good, but can't say as much about the bulk of the comments that have followed. There is a great deal of talk by those who are close to the program about the mental aspect of this team. Tennessee beat themselves in the Florida game, and can easily do the same against Georgia. I would add . . .

6. The team, as a whole, needs to be mentally and emotionally prepared, and keep a strong mental approach until the last second ticks off the clock.
