#1 - Starting QB is Injured - Back up QB is Rusty
#2 - Dorsey is Injured
#4 - Miles is thinking of Michigan Job
#5 - Bo Pelini has his mind on HC Position

The last but not least reason I have a good feeling about this game. LSU allowed 589 Yards on the Ground the last Two games. Ok, I'll give you McFadden but they still Allowed Ole Miss to Run for 200.

We WILL move the Ball, We WILL score on this SO-CALLED Outstanding Defense and we WILL WIN!

GO VOLS

Going to ATL Baby!

1- EA knows this will define his career
2- I have hope in Foster after watching the Ark running game pound LSU (I know he's no D-Mac)
3- The D will be ready. There's plenty of time to rest later. Mayo will get them up.
4- Our return game will get us in good position. I've read more than 1 post on LSU boards questioning their coverage teams.
5- Lincoln will be automatic if called upon.

1. LSU's head coach is house hunting in Ann Arbor and the defensive coordinator is shopping in Lincoln

2. Ainge knows this game will define his time here.

3. Tennessee, as a team, have come together.

4. Heart and pride. Cliche as it is, Tennessee has shown it the past 6 weeks.

5. Tennessee is due.

something tell me that we pull a few things out of the hat that does not resemble us at all...i may be wrong but Fulmer knows how important this game is...i would have said in the past that we stick to the same old stuff and in reason we will but i think we give them a few more things to think about than we are accustomed to...

Foster
Berry
Fulmer
Ainge
Chavis

These are the people I think will exceed expectation Saturday (even though my expectation of Berry is one pick 6 per game)

1. Crocket has a rifle.
2. LSU's tiger is already dead.
3. Even zombie tigers will succomb to a rifle shot, if it strikes the head.
4. The logistics and length of the supply chain of corn dogs from Baton Rouge to Atlanta makes it unlikely that LSU's fans, coaches, and players will all be able to maintain high performance levels, due to a general shortage of corn dogs.
5. Tennessee fans, coaches, and players will not run into any of these difficulties, due our corn coming from jars. Stays preserved.

Seriously, with these factors in mind we can't lose.

Always optimistic for a VOLS win...1. they are due a good game, ie. Arky, having struggled recently; 2.Senior VOLS have to be focused on making their name, i.e. Sugar Vols; 3. lsu struggling and maybe lack some focus; 4. call me a "fool" but I will take CPF and staff over Miles and his guys; 5. VOLS have hung on to win some games of late they could have given up, gotta be some cosmic reason for this, i.e. see 98 Arkansas fumble (just kidding about the cosmic crap) but VOLS do seem destined. The Vandy and Ky. game I thought they were destined to give me heart failure! GO VOLS:clapping:

In reverse order:

5. Injuries to LSU's players.
4. Ainge is playing very well right now, so I'm going with the hot hand, not to mention the overall team momentum.
3. Fulmer versus Miles. Yes, I think Fulmer can out-coach Miles on this one. Miles can say all he wants to about focus, but he's clearly thinking about taking over the reigns of his alma mater, which directly ties into:
2. Distracted LSU players. If this were the NFL, I don't think a big loss and coaching departures would be a big deal for a number of reasons, but these are still 18-22 year-old kids (except Jacob Hester) and it will effect them. I would expect the Vols to be distracted if the roles were reversed.
1. Who wants it more? I say the Vols. They were partying in Lexington while the Tigers licked their wounds in Baton Rouge and tried to make sense of it. The Vols are back from the dead, and after the way things looked after the Alabama debacle, a trip to the Sugar Bowl as the SEC Champs would be a HUGE accomplishment. For LSU, a trip to the Sugar Bowl is a consolation prize, and a bittersweet one considering the BCSCG will be in the same venue one week later. Emotionally, I think Tennessee is on a huge upswing while the Tigers are in damage control mode. So, I give the edge to the Vols.

1. The team has finally gelled like we heard in the preseason.

2. Dorsey is not 100%.

3. Our OL is one of the 3 best they've seen this year.

4. David Cutcliffe = 2-0 in SECCG.

5. LSU Coaches' focus is MIA.

1. Fulmer won't let this team stop playing in the second half of an SEC championship game.
2. The entire coaching staff knows how big this will be for recruiting and momentum going into next year.
3. The corners will be playing with a chip on their shoulder, especially DeAngelo, after being diced last week.
4. Gerald Jones is ready for the big time, and what better place to show that than on the biggest stage he has been on this year.
5. It would really tick the Florida and Alabama fan bases off, and we love doing that.

Whoops, I didn't notice that my roommates account was still logged in, those are my reasons.

1) Tennessee must run the ball- Ainge has stalled late in the last few games- esp. when we decided to abandon the run. We have yet to prove we can run it all four quarters- In the vols defense- it appears to be have determined by Cutcliffe going 5 wide & an empty backfield all of a sudden.
2) Our defensive line needs to step up. Our best rusher is injured and our LB's can't do everything. LSU has talent to burn everywhere.
3) In all our losses, we gave up HUGE special team returns. This has never been a Fulmer strong point (and he needs to hire a new ST coach in the off season). We really need to step up both on the return (Rogan?) and kicking sides.
4) The back up LSU QB doesn't need to repeat the 2001 performance by an LSU backup.
5) We need treat Atlanta like Knoxville- there has been huge swings in performance this year on the road and at home.
6) It will help alot if Dorsey reinjures his hamstring.

Fulmer can be masterful when an underdog. LSU has lots of talent- we have lots of young players who can step up. We historically play the underdog role well. GO VOLS! Let's finish it for the last two games.:dance2:

Obviously, as was the case with the KY and Vandy games, somehow we'lll find a way to have more points on the board at the end of the game!

Go Vols!
