1.The fans are more passionate and seem more like a family.
2.We get to make fun of goofy team mascots.
3.The players play for the love of the game more than in pros.
4.BIGGER STADIUMS, croud noise, bands, fight songs
5.They have no VOLS.

What do you think?

Sounds good to me. Don't forget the huge ego's and stupid ghetto dances players do after every tackle or catch.

I don't dance at my job when I send an email.

1. Due to a lack of playoff, the season hinges on every single game
2. Due to a lack of playoff, there is always some controversy to discuss
3. Due to a lack of playoff, rivalries are as bitter as they come
4. Due to a lack of playoff, you must follow every major team
5. Due to a lack of playoff, every fan has plenty of opinions

Sooo, what you are saying, RealUT, is that you are in favor of a playoff in college football? :)

I agree absolutely with everything said, but I'm sorry, until we get playoffs, I will still put NFL up top. I'm tired of seeing, like this season, teams like Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee (even a few more SEC teams) getting snubbed by teams like notre dame and louisville, who play two big games all year. Half of the SEC is damn well better than most of the teams out there, but we beat the hell out of each other every year and can't get close to the big dance. I love college football more than anything, but we NEED playoffs. Until then, NFL remains up top. Your team can lose a game and the season not be over.

i agree, though the nfl has a few goofy mascots and team names like the ravens, and i never liked titans as a football team name

The only thing I like about the NFL better than College are the "easy" and "skanky" looking cheerleaders. There's just something about strippers that I can't resist.

Before you jump the gun, Louisville and West Virginia have not yet snubbed anyone, and Notre Dame plays more stringent competition than most SEC teams year in and year out.

1. CF is truely local. They are not going to move to another city when they feel like it.
2. Tradition based.
3. Big marching bands and small cheerleaders. Except for Bama which has small marching band and big cheerleaders. (Had to do it, its Bama week)
4. You don't have to pay 6 bucks for a beer. Alcohol free environment:whistling:. Its a BYOB party with 107,000 of your friends.
5. For the most part its pure football as opposed to personality driven receivers.

Better look at ND schedule again

I don't even watch NFL games. Sunday's during football season are ruled by the saturday that came before if UT wins then it's a good sunday. If heaven forbid we lose then I spend all day sunday in a bad mood. I just can't get excited like that for any NFL game. Sure the SuperBowl is cool but it's just an excuse to have your friends over and get drunk, and I don't need excuses to do that.

Point taken, but I've also never seen an NFL receiver break off a pass route and stop during a game to post on a message board during work hours the way you just did. :p

I've always hated the NFL. The talent is too spread out (except for the Titans, which lacks) and that doesn't allow for a blowout or big play that turns a game like CF does. And the tradition in CF is unmatched anywhere else.

I'd rank:
1. College Football
2. HS Football
3. Powderpuff
4. ---------
5. NFL
