So far on the season here are the shooting numbers for them:

Vescovi is 8-26 overall and 3-17 on 3s

ZZ is 7-30 overall and 4-18 on 3s.

Know it's early in the season but both of them have got to get going and get much more consistent. I'm not too worried overall, but would rather see them start get going a bit more

Vescovi is playing solid defense and rebounding the basketball and throwing a few nice dimes as well.

Seigler will be all right by the time conference play starts.

Both were good at defense We stayed neck and neck with Purdue the whole game. I'm especially happy about Z moving so well after that injury. It will all come together as they keep playing.

Zeigler played a big part in why Purdue's usual #2 scorer was held to one fg all game.
He SHUT HIM DOWN!

ZZ is least of my worries. Purdue is going to make alot of teams look bad. We had them. Refs were entirely out of control though. The frustrating thing about Santi is his streaks...when he goes cold...ugh.

Honestly this game really just defines how good this team is. Off night shooting and awful officials that allowed the other team to shoot 48 damn free throws and we loss by 4. Lol
& they have either increased the time in the 3 second lane to 5 seconds or completely quit calling it. Some 3s were made by Loyer don't know if their eyes were watching Loyer and the ball but Eddy camped out in there some times when the ball was outside jockeying for rebound position. Its a long season we will get there different refs almost every game so we have to accept and adjust.,

Barnes needs to work on an offensive strategy that brings the shooters closer to the basket, these periods of time in which the team scores no points are very hard to watch, but other competitive teams are more prone to move the ball toward the basket for closer shots, rather than have the ball simply move around the perimeter and end up shooting harder shots from further distances.

Ziegler will be just fine. He is coming back from an injury. Vescovi i don't know what up with him. He needs to stop shooting those 30 ft jumpers.
