I'm going to say 4&1 for october. Only loss against bama in a close game.

Buff vol fans will be happy with the running game behind tiny. 48_10

UGA tough win but bray leads the team for a final drive td to win by 4 pts 31_27

LSU well miles losses this one for his team trying to play 2 qb's 24_17

Bama wins on the back of TR who has 41 carries for 173 yards 2 td's 24_14

USC tries to copy bama's gamelan but fails due to 2 int's by UT. 33_17

Could happen!

We kill buffalo 48-10
Sneak past UGA 24-20
Get revenge on LSU in neyland!!!! 17-10
Bama beats us once again 31-14
Lattimore gets over 150 yrds but garcia has more than 3 turnovers to lead ut to a 35-24 win
Really think we have a chance to go 4-1 in the month of october but wouldnt surprise me if we drop the 1 to lsu

we'll find out how the team responds in just a few hours.... Hope we can be 5-3, but agree with consensus 4-4.... Need to steal one somewhere from somebody....

IF UGA loses to Miss St and UT, Bulldogs will be looking for a new coach on Oct 10th. (YEAH BUDDY!)

Anyone calling lsu upset is blatantly biased. That D is for real and Garcia won't be that bad in one game for a while

LSU and 'bama are playing football just too damn good right now. And both are legit teams. SC and GA have question marks. Against Ga, control the tempo, no turnovers, and our offense will wear out that D. Call it a win. Against SC,,,stop Clowney and Ingram, or at least contain them, and call it a win. With all the press that Tyler gets, Clowney and Ingram will be hell bent on twisting Bray in half. Hopefully Chaney will have Bray rolling right and throwing left,,,short pops to DaRick and Rivera,,,that will slow the pass rush down. Keep the ball away from Lattimore and call it a win.

I'd love to go 3-2 in October. I will settle for 2-3, however, since 2 of our games are against the best 2 teams in the United States. 1-4 and I start going after Dooley, irrationally of course.

I still believe you guys go 3-2 very easy not way worse...you may even pull out one of the lsu bama games.

1-4 or 2-3 in Oct. LSU & Bama will be games we're not expected to win. I think Ga has gotten it on track, can we compete with them? SC will test our Defense like never before with Lattimore running all over the place. Dooley's report card will be viewed closer at the end of Oct. More questions will rise as to if he has this team making progress, turning the curve or is it headed down hill again.

whats are record at the end of the month ??

*hour

I can't believe no one has pegged this yet. :)

Anyway, I say 5-3 overall; Wins vs. Buffalo and UGA, losses to Bama and LSU, close loss to SC. I'm very concerned about Lattimore, and I think he pulls them away at the end, but I hope I'm wrong. Shut down Lattimore and you win. It also depends on whether the "good steven" or "bad stephen" shows up...

i think tennessee will be 3-5 again. for the sanity of those on this board, i hope i am wrong.

alabama and lsu would take a mini miracle.

south carolina, while beatable, comes at the end of a stretch where tennessee will have played georgia, lsu, and alabama back to back to back......while south carolina has a bye week before tennessee.

the most winnable game is georgia. the only problem is that it is an absolute must win for mark richt if he wants to remain the head coach at georgia and i imagine georgia will be ready to play.

i would like nothing more than for tennessee to beat south carolina and georgia and if y'all want to beat lsu or alabama, that's fine with me to.

but, i just don't see it.

The path to 7-5 or 8-4 will requre us to beat one of the next four of our opponents. I think we win one , go 4-0 in Nov and break our streak in the Georgia Dome and return next year for an SEC title.
