C'mon DD. You see all the "yay we only lost by 17 total points to the 3 ranked teams" circle tug. Then the "best 4 loss team in history" posts. Then the talk of "how difficult Tennessee's schedule" is posts.

We don't agree on much, but surely that makes you shake your head....

I agree with you. It's crazy how many of our rivals spend so much time on volnation. I just can't imagine having an account, on a Gator site for example, making thousands of posts talking smack.

Never happy when we lose but I know enough about football to see the Vols are back to where they are competitive again. This hasn't been the case in a long time and I am not going to bad mouth my team when they are doing good and have talent. We
are lucky that Butch came here and has got the talent and they are giving their all for TN. I am hoping for a bowl win, more recruits, a great 2016 season and the Negavols go back in their holes they crawled out of.

If you know enough about football, then you should be able to see that Butch is the primary reason this team didn't win 10+ games. Winning 8 games is fine. Doesn't mean I have to celebrate mediocrity like you do.

You are just a fool. Butch wasn't the one that fell down on 4th and 17. The players make or don't make the plays. That is why we are doing better and beat Ga and hung with Bama.

Sounds like the same thing that was said about Dooley. Players not executing. Being better than Dooley doesn't make Butch deserve the Tennessee job. It makes him better than the worst coach in school history. That's it.

No - Butch has brought in better players. TN will be in back to back Jan bowls for the first time since Fulmer. TN tied for 2nd in the East. TN has the top punt and kickoff returners in the nation. TN can now compete and beat everyone they play. Butch is better than Dooley, Kiffin and Wyatt.

I'd like to, but you just saying "Tennessee will win more next year" is a bit premature. The problem is Butch. Will he adjust. Will he finally figure out that big east won't win the SEC?

he'll never be happy until butch is gone. he's been singing that tune so long and hard that he probably thinks he'll look like an idiot if he shows butch support... tho most of his posts already show him in that light.

I see people looking down on a team and coaches that stood toe to toe with playoff teams and saying it wasn't enough. I see a team and coaches that agree with you just not for the cynical reasons you cite.

That is why I love this team and I am damn proud of them. Not because they almost won.

It pisses me off for them when fans won't even give them that respect. You want to discount all they have done and how close they were as if it were some flippant thing. It's garbage. If you really watched this team you know it's garbage too.

I've argued the east isn't down too and in truth it is but I'd put team 119 against any team in the country right now. UF sucking ass tarnishes what we really are. The fact Vandy, KY, Mizzou sucked does too but we beat them as soundly as any team in the country has.

We peaked too late to achieve our goals. I'm still smiling though because I know this team works day and night while VN bickers about the definition of good.

Well, he's right, we are closer to winning the East. Your program's Lord and Savior even said he believed Tennessee was the best team in the East as of now.

Your Gators have looked nothing short of atrocious for four straight weeks now. If you have a bad bowl game showing and Tennessee wins, I don't see why they wouldn't be the favorites going into next year to win the East and possibly the SEC.
